Any great movies about " Addiction " ? [ NO SPOILERS PLEASE ]

    I watched a few movies 7 months ago but i wiuld say that the best of them were:
    - Requiem for a Dream
    and
    - Basket ball diaries
    Does anyone know a drug addict movie of such level, in which the main plot is fighting addiction.

    Please let's keep it [ NO SPOILERS ]

    I've been wondering the same thing myself. Rocky is an inspirational one for me as well as remember the titans. However these aren't about addiction

    As far as I googled movies on the addiction of our kind, it was sad the all the stuff had the bait which makes us relapse with its content.

    But I think rather than watching those movies watch movies on hardwork , success like those he said above Rocky, The Pursuit of Hapyness, Limitless, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory so on .

    Also if you want to watch only on the topic of addiction you can also watch "Thanks for sharing" as well as Salil Jamdar web series "Asli Mard" on Youtube (Turn on captions for English) .

    Each of these films has potential bait for a relapse but as a fapstronaut you should not fall skip ahead push forward.

    Leaving Las Vegas is a good movie about severe alcoholism. Trainspotting is a good movie about heroin addiction. 28 Days is a pretty good movie about drug and alcohol addiction from the rehab perspective. I'd recommend all three.

    As far as i know i will try to skip that part of "..." you know.

    I'm 100% willing to keep NoFap on, i'm 27 years old and PMO has made a lot of damage in my life so far. if i keep moving this road i will end up sleeping in the streets - Homeless.

    Not an option, It's like Heroin Addiction for me. And everyday i'm staying off PMO costs me, it's like i'm paying the Rehab and Everyday is expensive.

    I can get money, but there is something very expensive than it, it's time and i wasted a lot of it, can't afford wasting more and going back to addiction.

    Thank you guys, i will watch Motivational movies too. both sides are categories of movies are great! thanks for the movies recommandation.

    SHAME, it features Michael Fassbender portraying the role of a sex addict, it's probably the most relevant movie to PMOers. It goes without saying though that there will be plenty of sex and nudity in it obviously.

    "Brain Heart World" by Fight the new drug

    Its a documentary about stories of people describing their porn addiction and how they overcame it

    I liked it a lot

    Yup - Trainspotting hits the mark on addiction.

    Here a thing, Day 10 at the moment on Hard mode + no alcohol.

    I've drunk pretty regularly and heavily for the last 20 years. but the surprising thing is that its the PMO which throws the biggest pangs. Weird.
