Sadly at 60 still struggling with this mess. It’s time for a life change and reboot. My vices are too much alcohol, too much TV and porn. The pattern is drink too much at night, laze around the next day nursing hangover then PMO to feel better, which starts the cycle again. Been stuck here for years

As a former drinker, looking back, I remember that when I had too much to drink and then, and then.... (similar to what you are going through). I did AA for a while but wasn't my thing. Fast forward a few years, I had friends in Celebrate Recovery that dealt with lots of other vices (besides drinking). Depending on your religous views, you might want to check out CR. Good luck and you can do this!!

I’ve been doing OK with no PMO, not so much with drinking and cigars which of course weakens resolve, baby steps I guess . One thing at a time

I was smoking cigarettes for a couple years. I wasn't too bad about it, my worst was maybe 5 or 6 a day. It helped me quit by just continuously telling myself it was going to kill me. I started again during covid lockdown but was able to stop again after a few weeks.

Alcohol never got me. Fortunately I don't like drinking too much, it puts me in a bad mood and stops me from sleeping well.
