Hey man, I hear ya. I've been a addict for the past 14 years. This is something that you can do, and something that you deserve to do. You deserve a life outside of porn. The brain is an amazing thing, in time it will heal back to it's natural way of handling sexual situations. It just takes time and perseverance. Welcome to the group!

 

Increase your chance of success. Delete all porn from phone and computer. Delete all porn bookmarks from phone and computer. Download and install a porn blocker app on your phone and download a porn blocker program for your computer. Since I'm pretty strong-willed and I use Google Chrome most of the time on my laptop, I grabbed a porn blocker extension for my browser. Finally, EITHER put SafeSearch on your Google search engine OR change your search engine on your computer to Swisscows located at swisscows.com. Swisscows, while a funny name for a search engine, is a family-friendly search engine. It is billed (and has shown to me) to be a search engine your kids can use because it rejects any and all searches for porn-related websites. I've tried to foil this search engine deliberately but it is resilient. If you do all this and set in your mind a good reason to quit porn then you will have success in eliminating this addiction.
