Does PMO leads to short Therm Memmory Looses ?

Looking back at my post I think you might have gotten confused when I said

"I've stopped wasting my time searching for "science" to explain anything when mainstream science believes masturbation is healthy and that there's nothing wrong with porn"

My point was that I don't trust or care about what science has to say about nofap benefits because mainstream science literally promotes porn and masturbation as harmless while on the contrary we all know that is bullshit! So to me, looking for "scientific" evidence is worthless. All that matters is our own experience and the effects that we see and believe. We don't need science to prove anything.

 

When I look at porn, or even day dream of sex for an extended period of time, I physically feel the rush of dopamine into my brain, and the ensuing brain fog afterwards. I have been a longtime PMO addict of 25 years and can feel the warm rush within my brain. I instantly feel this sensation once getting my fix. The brain fog is real, the cognitive loss is real.

 

To add to the memory discussion in general - What I have been getting more lately is flash backs of my youth where I’m no longer demonizing it like I used to. My long term memory is improving or I’m actually caring for it. Maybe it’s because of no porn, maybe it’s cause I’m just getting older. Anyone experiencing that?
