I started celibacy at age 19, and it was the best decision I made. From age 19-22 my streak was not clean, I had a lot of sexual thoughts. My guru reminded me to stay pure while being a celibate. I made a vow to become a pure brahmachari/celibate and from age 22-26 I have remained pure and have experienced a lot of good things happening to myself and the people around me.

I donate 70% of my yearly salary to charity, I have done a lot of volunteering. I have met old celibate monks in the himalayas. I have had some mystical experiences, I have seen UFO's in the sky while meditating with a group of people multiple times, I have seen light beings while meditating.

On my 3 year unclean streak I only experienced 10% of benefits, but on my 4 year pure streak I experienced 80% of benefits of celibacy. Brahmacharya has helped me emotionally, mentally, spiritually, physically. I have not become ill for 7 years, I no longer have arthritis, my testosterone has increased by 30%, I have a lean muscular physique at 5'9 190 pounds. My memory and intelligence has increased. I almost have no fear of anything except God.

The things that helped me remain pure are meditation, prayer, intense exercise. My daily routine is: having cold showers every morning, meditate, pray 2 hours a day and regularly run long distances, I do 500-1000 Gama style push ups a day, work 2 hours a day and help my workers at the store I own, I take care of my vegetable and fruit plants, I spend a lot of time out in nature, help friends and family, i spend 1-2 hours on the internet, I sleep 5 hours a day.

Celibacy makes a man the most masculine version of himself. I advise you guys to stay on the right path and remain pure. Do not let others convince you that celibacy is false, as they have not experienced what true brahmacharya is.

Everyone should be celibate until they find a partner or choose to become a lifetime celibate.

Wow, that is really inspiring. I am a person that is trying to have more contact with spirituality so i decided to go full celibacy too. I think that is a way to transcend that default mindset that we have after years living in this strange society. I feel like the universe calls me to focus on the spiritual l.

Celibacy is not for everyone, but for those called to it, and those that can handle it, it can be a blessing. I have been celibate all my life. Now in my 30s. People have asked me why I’m still single and why I don’t want to get married. They even tried to pair me up etc...

I don’t fear missing out because I know this life is temporary and it’s not all there is. In my opinion, it makes more sense for religious people who believes in the afterlife to choose a path of celibacy. But if you’re Atheist or Agnostic and believe that this life is all there is, then it’s truly a waste to go Celibate.

    Love makes the man!
    It makes the husband,
    it makes the father,
    and it makes the celibate.
