Like in some days often after a one or a few weeks of abstinence
    You feel weak mentally/physically
Your body especially your hands and feet are cold
    Penis and scrotum are shrinked
    Urinate frequently, probably watery urine
    Feel depressed/brain fogged
    Low sexual energy

Do you experience these symptoms in some days after quitting porn?
Have you also noticed that you are most vulnerable on these days?

I think its the addiction's mechanism to force one to go for the reliever(porn, masturbation, whatever) and what it does is that it puts pressure from different sides/levels mostly emotionally and also by reducing your mental capacity to make you do what IT wants. So I see these symptoms as hostage-taking: Give me what I want and I'll realease your mental power.

The other scenario is that these symptoms are simply a part of the up and down of life! We pmoers were used to experience only the hype/good/fun side of life and sweep the sadness/anxieties under the rug for long. Now by abstinence there is no more emotional pain reliever and our brain sucks at dealing with lows so maybe its struggling to balance things off.

I also have those symptoms, in the first five days. The first week is the most difficult for me. "Penis and scrotum are shrinked", "Low sexual energy" I think these are flat line symptoms, and they can appear in the firsts months. Obviuslly the penis and the scrotom are very flexible and they don't change in size, but they may remain in a shrinked state more often.
The mental symptoms are a result of a brain which doesn't have the dopamine rushes anymore. But they don't last for too long, after one week I feel much better than the pmo days. On the other hand, we have to deal with our emotions now, instead of using a fake exit such as PMo. We will not feel good all the time, that is part of being alive.

    @Jarad999

So what happened by the beginning of november? Your progress could be inspiring to others. So if you please tell us more. Did you suddenly felt different or was it a slow recovery?

I personally feel am yet far from a sustained energetic/good mood with a sharp mind. Id anticipate that my good feelings would be temprorary just occuring here and there in near future.

I did felt little differences after i managed to not relapse because of the very hard urges, but yeah it is a slow recovery for me, the reason why it's slow because i've been on pmo for about 1.5 years, so when i experience benefits it could possibly happen tomorrow or 5 days tomorrow or even a year.

A chronic addict would be about 8 to 20 years of PMO vs 1.5 year addict, a chronic addict will experience benefits in day 1 fast and when it's about 7 days then he'll experience loads of benefits, compared to a 1.5 year addict(me)i do feel benefits but it's a slow process, it can be up to 30 days for me to feel a benefit.

So, everybody is different(literally)and are special in their own way.
I did not relapse, so i want to thank God and the power of purposes helped not to relapse,

and thank you for asking me these kind and awesome questions, mate!

Its the opposie I suppose. Consider yourself lucky that you've gotten in recovery path after only a year of addiction.
The longer the duration of being hooked on pmo, the longer it takes to become free.
For heavy pmoers, neuro-pathways are deeply routed with porn where for someone with a history of say 1.5 years its not that intense. You can recover much faster and should see the benefits of it much earlier than many.
