Liber Heresius - Three Things We Won't Miss of Porn

WELCOME TO THE LIBER HERESIUS, IMPERIAL CITIZEN

These are the words of the wisest man who ever lived (and still somehow lives), the Emperor of Mankind. He has sat immobile on his Golden Throne in the Imperial Palace for ten thousand years, protecting humanity through his immense powers.
He is not awaken, yet knows no rest; closed in silence, yet enwrapped in an eternal cry in the Immaterium; dead, yet somehow still alive.

As Fapstronauts, we know space (of course we do) and its horrors. We fight against one of the most vicious enemies known to Mankind: pornography. Called to an endless crusade against addiction to porn images and masturbations, some of us regrouped around the common theme of Warhammer 40k, a popular and beloved grimdark scifi setting for books, comics, tabletop games and video games. We became Space Marines, bio-engineered trans-humans soldiers created to fight the cruelest enemies of Mankind.

A long-time passion for some of us, a new way to add flavor to the usual monthly challenge for others, the WH40k universe provided the thematic and narrative base for a creative mixture of mutual support, community and sharing of experiences. Most credits and thanks to @Primaris, who started it all.

This Liber Heresius, approved by the Holy Inquisition, the most powerful and secret institution of the Imperium of Man, collects the reflections of some of us about the negative consequences porn brings into our lives.

I, we hope that this will inspire us as well as the casual reader who will stumble upon this thread. The reflection about pornography is an ever changing field of study: feel free to add your contribution in the comments.

3. Porn tells us lies: About who we are, who loves us, who is letting us into their emotional and physical world, and most of all it lies to us about what we are made for.

CHAPTER IV

1. Porn is no different from junk food. Why should I abstain from poor-quality food for my body, yet indulge in rotten nutrition for my mind and soul?

2. My soul is a fragile thing. I should feed it with love, not confuse and hurt it with graphic violence and offensive representation of sexuality.

3. I will avoid whatever forces me to do something when I would rather do something else. That is an obsessive behavior.
