Ready for a new training session? When you get strong enough you will have the chance to train in the hyperbolic time chamber.

Day 15! looking like a elite warrior! I did a lot of heavy lifting today (albeit it was construction materials, but still counts) so it fits the day perfectly!

  6. Day 0! Starting again!

Eighth day done. I shouldn't have let myself stay up; urges were difficult late at night.

Day 44 baby. For a long time I didn't feel any temptation at all, God was giving me the strength to resist it, now I have a girlfriend, and God is loosening up the reins a little, he's testing my strength and for the first time in forever I actually feel tempted, I won't, because there's no way im going back to that nasty gross act, but right now im just saying im feeling tempted

  11. Back to Day 0 due to a mix of anxiety, habit, and chaser effect. I realize that PMO doesn't feel as good as it used to be anymore. It's just more out of habit now.

  12. And u gotta break that habit..If u feel like u r having triggers/urges then get away from that content..Try harder fellow saiyan

  15. Learning to cope with our anxieties in a healthier way is a bit part of our progress.
I am also working on that.

  17. Day 16 done.
I was listening to a podcast with Sam Harris and Laurie Santos, a psychology professor.

At some point she mentioned that the wiring in the brain responsible for craving is NOT the same as the one responsible for liking.
So you may intensely crave something but not like it at all!
I have often felt like this, falling to PMO urges only to feel disgusted to what I saw and what I did moments after I did it.
I think this knowledge helps further reinforce the truth that PMO is an addiction for us, not what we would truly like ourselves to be.

Another important thing was that the mere presence of smartphones in social interactions reduced the enjoyment of the interaction for all participants. A part of the mind is still hooked on the device and won't allow us to be fully present to enjoy the people we care about.

Finally I read an article on multitasking. I knew it reduces your productivity but turns out things are worse than I thought.
“Multitasking creates a dopamine-addiction feedback loop, effectively rewarding the brain for losing focus and for constantly searching for external stimulation.”
Each time we multitask — by browsing the internet, scrolling on social media feeds, checking emails and so on — we train our brains to lose focus and get distracted.
It also reduces empathy, impulse control and emotional intelligence. Sounds familiar?
I had this gut feeling that I need to tackle the way I interact with media and that confirmed it for me.

NO PMO, meditation, device free interaction with loved ones and single-tasking is the way to go brothers.
Let's do this, let's better our lives and those of our loved ones!
