    Hi guys,

    I am a writer, and I launched the NoFap challenge (90 Days of PM free) to increase my productivity.

    For those who work at home, I want to share an experience with you;

    I tried a new routine these days :

    - I go to bed at 9 p.m.

    - I wake up at 5 a.m. and write until 7 a.m.

    - I resume writing from 8 a.m. until noon.

    Result = 6 hours of actual work + afternoon off.

    Give it a try, and tell me how it's going!

    Have a good one,

    Do you check the news/smartphone/social media during that time block in the morning?

    Or do you only indulge after you are finished with writing, i.e. in the afternoon?

    Excellent question, StoicContemplation!

    It is simply a matter of staying in "the dream state" as long as possible.

    When you write along the day, you think about reality and life tasks.

    If you wake up pretty early, you are a little bit still in your night, alone. It's quite astonishing to freely develop new ideas.

    I try to maintain this euphoria until 12 am...

    So, I don't check my phone and use an app/website blocker until noon...

    Hello! I'm actually curious on why you became a writer? Just want to understand something.

    Otherwise, good tip. With this setup, you can leave the afternoon for things you have to do, whether is shopping for groceries or pay taxes. You might add in other habits as well or other "creativity boosters" that you can do. Of course, do what you know you're capable of.
