Masturbation and spiritually wife

    So I've been struggling with masturbation and and porn addiction since I was like 8/9 years old.
    Okay so like 5years ago when i was 18/17 i was chilling at a park with some friends having a blunt just chilling, we were then approached by two Christian guys who asked to pray for us..okay we said yes then one of the guys asked to talk to me in private okay we stepped aside i was shocked when he told me that i have a masturbation problem cause it was something I did in private and nobody knew about it. How did he know? He also told me that my excessive use of pornography and masturbation has led me to having a spiritual wife he went on to explain that the reason nothing seems to be going well in my life is because of the spiritual wife that I'm married to it is very jealous and whenever something good happens in my life it destroys it i can't get a job when i go back to school beginning of the year i feel excited and inspired but for some reason I never get to finish it's like there's something holding me back from doing great things with my life.

    As you recover from porn addiction it does become possible to see who is addicted to porn. They look, act and talk very differently. As far as the spiritual nonsense goes, that's just crap.

    Read the story of a very saintly priest FR ANGELOS...he was from Egypt. He had the gift of discerning spirits. He knew right away what was the condition of a person...
    Padre Pio a holy man from Italy could know what was going on in a person before the penitent said anything..this is all extremely holy

    OP, I believe you. I have been studying demonology and the “spirit spouse” is a topic I haven’t studied in depth, but there are lengthy discussions of it on YT. If you come across any excellent point on this whole spirit spouse doctrine, drop them to me via PM. I’m open and know that any info I receive on it will further my research into this strange topic.

    EDIT: initially I though the OP was a believer.

    Hi Rico,
    I accept everyone's point of view. I too once subscribed to the theory of demons and supernatural temptation. But, I can not agree with you. Please believe me our own distorted and unfulfilled desires provide enough of a problem.
    Those religious guys you encountered were charlatans. I suspect they were able to deduce your addiction by close observation and leading questions.That is how confidence tricksters work. In all likelihood they probably subscribe to a divine source for their abilities.

    Possibly they mean well. They could be genuinely trying to help you. But I add a note of caution. You will not overcome your addiction by introducing a supernatural element. Rigorous self honesty and discipline are the true keys to deliverance from PMO addiction. But, in all humility, if it works for you stick with it. My advice is only my opinion after all.

    No es tan difícil darse cuenta de quién es adicto, yo creo ser capaz de poder darme cuenta de quién es adicto o tiene algún problema, es alguien que se parece a ti probablemente.
