Tip Reduce vitamin D to make nofap easier

    Hi all,

    Maybe this will help a bit, to make nofap easier for 1 or 2 weeks or so, just try to reduce vitamin D for a while, not too long offcourse, you might get sick, consult with doctor first. To reduce vitamin D avoid the sun, dont eat vitamin D rich food like fish and eggs etc just google for extensive list. Vitamin D is needed to produce testostorone which gives sexual desires. It seems to work for me, I have less desire to fap when doing this or is it just placebo maybe ?

    Very bad tip in my opinion.

    Vitamin D defiency leads to many different bad things, one among them is depression.

    And removing Vitamin D from your diet because you are trying to actively lower your testosterone?? One of the big benefits with nofap is that we increase our testosterone levels and feel better.
     
  5. Lmao what a ridiculous suggestion: reduce your daily intake of a fat soluble vitamin because it acts as an augmentative cofactor in testosterone production.

    Even if you are correct it's incredibly unwise to try to lower your testosterone because of a multitude of different health reasons

    I take 1000ui everyday (along with A and K2). Some say that’s too little. Personally I don’t know what’s too little or too much for me since I have never taken a blood test to find out. But I have been on 1000ui even through the winter when there’s not much sunlight.

    They say don’t take it before bed cause it will keep you up. As for fighting urges, I see no difference. D is very important, if we all knew the right amount our bodies need, a lot of us would be in great health just by taking the right amount.

    I take 3000 IUs everyday and have been for 2 months. I'm on my best streak in months. Things are never as simple as less Vitamin D -> less Testosterone -> fewer urges.

    With respect, that's the totally wrong approach. I see one of these threads on here every now and then, along the lines of "if I keep my testosterone down the NoFap will be easier." Your sex drive isn't the problem, how you're dealing with it is. A big part of reclaiming our manhood is managing/redirecting our testosterone and the urges linked to them, not squashing them. I strongly encourage you NOT to go down that road. There are substantial potential consequences of long term testosterone deficiency that could extend well beyond any NoFap goal you may have set for yourself.

    This seems rather dangerous and an extreme way to get over urges. If its getting so bad you're willing to deprive yourself of a vitamin that supports bodily functions I would have to suggest maybe talking to a sex counselor/therapist. Even if this was accurate its generally not a good idea to purposefully lower your testosterone. You'd be getting rid of the masturbation problem(possibly) but creating a bunch of other problems.

    I have been taking certain supps far prior to covid and swear by certain ones. Our food base nowadays is garbage and since no ones paid a living wage you have a massive unhealthy population.

    Vit D promotes testosterone,which can be bad during a reboot but I have not had super bad urges. I also take zinc. It promotes testosterone. Reboot,and these two,with l citruline is a go to for me. I also work out however and that balances the hormonal energy and blood flow.
    We all have different T levels but theres a direct link with draining your pool daily and lowering T levels. This is about to sound odd but Ive often found it interesting how real intercoarse or certain acts during sex actually make our Titan missles muscles flow and feel better and in turn boosting T attimes. While in turn PMO...choking your self out essentially does celluardamage and even muscle tissue damage to the Titan . Long story short,keep it for the real deal not war games.

    I can understand your tip, but it’s bad because you’re giving control to your testosterone level.
    You should control your mind to manage your level of testosterone, while lerning how to “use” it for natural and healthy reasons, not to masturbate!

    Reducing vit D you may face depressive episodes... and they can leads to P addiction to compensate!

  17. I'm low in vitamin D and I am actively taking supplements for that, Vitamin B and others. I'll never stop. That's the issue, I don't have the urges like people are experiencing with porn. I feel like I am infertile.

    Just wanted to add that urges in terms of pmo are first and foremost a product of your p-trained brain circuitry, not your levels of T. Wanting to have sex is a different story but thats just natural. there are alot of things and strategies you can utilize to bypass, survive and even stopping urges at the root before they come up that are not messing with your levels of hormones and essential nutrients.
