    Hey guys I'm 21yrs old, new here after learning about this forum few days ago..I got addicted to porn and masturbation since March and was trying to convince myself that i wasn't ,but today while watching a movie called Don jon I realised I am..Earlier I didn't jerk off much as I used to do it once a month or very few times maybe when I wanna let steam off and I'm alone...I think what really pushed me to doing it daily is the reduced contact with my friends and feeling lonely all the time...I hope that this forum can help me recover ..because I believe in myself that I can.

    First off WELCOME!!! Your among friends.. We all are going through the same struggle ur feeling so understand that from the jump.. Ur not alone in this.. Maybe you should start finding out who you are as a person, what u like and dislike.. Do you workout? I recommend having a daily workout routine aswell.. But usually people who are uncomfortable being alone dnt really know themselves.. This is why im reccomending u tap into who u are.. Good luck!!!

    No problem and that movie DJ is dope.. I like the way he conducts his life simplistically.. My pad, my ride, my girls, my church.. Thats a clean way to operate imo..

    Yes...The real eye opener to me was the porn issue with the girlfriend which really happened to me after I went to see her but couldn't get an erection and had to open a porn site to help with that...She was really fuming and said that I have ED or something but I later realized its because I was high on weed and alcohol which caused me not to get an erection

    I really dont want to scare you but I think its not really helpfull for yourself to say that its because of the drugs.
    As someone who literally never had sex sober I can tell you weed and alcohol normally dont cause problems with erections.
    You should really think about the fact that a real womans touch didnt arouse you and you needed porn to get you juices going.

    I hope you can stick to your plans and if you fall you can stand up fast again.

    Hey Samuel ...Yeah I finally realized that it wasn't the influence of drugs after digging deeper into the issue ..on my day 3 thread I wrote about how porn nearly cost me my sex life coz Am afraid yeah I have ED...its psychological ED induced by porn and not the normal ED I see in hospitals causes by drugs or diseases...It cant be treated by drugs but quitting porn for about 3 months can assure recovery. otherwise thanks for the concern buddy
