Baloon in ballsack due to NoFap (Spermatocele/Epididymal cyst)

Last night I was checking my balls in the mirror, it was not sexual, I was just examining it when I found a smaller third lump in my sack. My first thought was testicular cancer. The soft lump seemed like it was filled with liquid. Upon googling I found I had was what called a cyst, a balloon of clear liquid sometimes mixed with small quantities of sperm (spermatocele).

Turns out it is very common and completely safe unless it causes you pain or is very big. I think NoFap was the reason for this one and today morning I got confirmation that it was in fact due to not ejaculating for long periods (especially if you were masturbating a lot before and went cold turkey no PMO all of a sudden). Today I woke up with a wet dream, ejaculating all over my pants with what seemed like a clear fluid/pre-cum with only little quantities of sperm (sperm clots up to form jelly-like globules, and there were a minute quantity of them in my pants.)

I think me squeezing my spermatocele the night before caused this wet dream and today I checked my ballsack again and the spermatocele lump/balloon was either gone or greatly reduced.

So yeah I am not worried just weirded out .

Anybody else experience spermatocele on their streak? Go check your balls everyone!

Nofap has nothing to do with this, i have had it for several years during the peak of my pmo addiction.

At your age, you should see a doctor if it continues. Could be a cyst, but could be cancer. Don’t self-diagnose things like that.

there was a long period of time where i had pain in my genital area (scrotum) which started happening after edging (prolonged masturbation with trying to extend orgasm to a very late time)

i went to a doctor and he asked if i masturbate without orgasm i said yes, he told me to stop as its very dangerous

we did a scan, at the time they didnt found any issues. Now, it is clear when I hold my scrotum that there are spermatoceles, I may have a hydrocele as well, and for sure I have swollen veins which is varicoceles. Maybe also epididitimys

its all my own fault, so, to everyone, NEVER edge, and avoid PMO completely

but i wont do surgery unless i get much pain or have fertility issues, because i dont want to have a scar and i dont want to face the risks that the surgery has, also i am scared of surgery

I think I have varicocele instead of spermatocele. Electronics have fucked my life over from the start and I will be stuck reversing its effects for years

This epididymal cyst post is 100% true and is a sure consequence of nofap. I really wish the nofap community takes this seriously and suggest methods to avoid this condition. I have been an on extended streak and noticed a lump last Monday (22/Aug). I visited urologist and had an ultrasound scan (27/Aug) which showed an epididymal cyst of 3.1 * 1.8 * 3.1 cm. Now urologist suggests surgical removal as the only option. Is there an alternative way? Has any one in the community have come out this condition without a surgery? If yes, what did you do to recover?

I am in noway disregarding the benefits which are very true. I really really wish to continue nofap. But not at this cost again. Requesting advice at the earliest.

For me, I went to the urologist and he confirmed a grade 2 varicocele. And there are natural ways to lessen and almost nullify its effects. But I wish to join the army and the Army requires you have it corrected through surgery, so thats what I will do.

As for Nofap causing this: I have read a lot of literature on this since the OP, I don't know about epidydmal cysts but varicocele are caused by defunct valves inside testicular veins. Which I read somewhere is caused by sitting too much as it exerts too much pressure on said veins.

Also NoFap is the natural way of life, 10,000 years ago, you would be orgasming much much much less than today. With 1-2 females if you are a lucky alpha male. Having cysts pop up due to not ejaculating is evolutionary backward and a danger to survival of a species.

I am certain NoFap did not cause your cyst, nor my varicocele, we had years and years of bad habits leading to it

@Silver36 Thanks for taking your time to provide the reply. I wish nofap is not the reason for my cyst since I wish to restart my nofap journey after the cyst removal surgery. I am not telling that nofap alone caused this cyst. What I believe is edging combined with nofap cause this cyst as I never ejaculated the semen. . I really wish this consequence is made aware to new joiners of this community. I feel there should an entry in Newbies FAQ thread [newbies-faq.49581 cannot post link for low rights] entry mentioning that edging is strict no no with nofap with consequences mentioned.

There are way too many threads on nofap subreddit [cannot post link for low rights] about epididymal cyst to show that it bears some relation to nofap.
