Giving up porn means I am a self respecting human who can overcome his compulsions. It proves that i cannot be enslaved by outsiders trying to exploit my desires. It also means i have the will power to do what is needed to be successful. Thus it's like a mini proof that I can succeed.

Living my life to my fullest, living mostly in the here and now. Feeling connected and valuing myself.

  4. The why i'm here is to really be here, I wan't to live the real life, dealing with all the problems and overcoming then!

Giving up porn means being in control of your own brain. Being the king instead of the slave

I’ve lapsed in posting daily. But for me, this means feeling all my feelings. Normal-sized, so that my goals seem more doable, and are not based on unhelpful fantasies.

Giving up porn means more real connection in my life, and more sharing of myself as I am.

Giving up porn means finding new ways to entertain myself, often annoyingly, with things that have nothing to do with sex or lust.

I'm giving up porn, because every time I haven't been on porn for a while I feel very strongly how much more focused I am. This enables me to enjoy the things I love way better then while I am on PMO.

I'm giving up porn, because my principles command me to respect women and to discipline my desires. I want to become the person that lives up to it's principles. I want to be the man that lets what he thinks is right be a law to him that cannot be broken. I think it is wrong to watch porn, as it neither helps me achieving my goals, nor does it make me happier; not even in the short term. Thus abstaining from it should be a law to me that I cannot break.
