I think the point, is that those guys (or a good chunk of them, it's up to debate) can never become normal again, in the term that if they do drugs one more time, they'll relapse heavily, Bojack Horseman had a Drunk guy who went 10 years sober and threw it all away after having a sip of one drink.

You can be normal again if you never get back into drugs and avoid pharmaceutical drug related medicine, but you do one of those one time and you can easily go back to be a drug addict.

  5. Erase it completely from your brain, and avoid all triggers.

Many Former Smoking Addicts, became normal despite having to deal with Smokers and Smelling Cigarettes Smoke in Public Places, but that doesn't push them to go back to their Addiction again. It's a Question of either the person is Weak or Strong nothing else.

My dad was a heavy long term smoker, he only stopped case two things: His lung state started to hurt and he switched to electronic cigarettes with Fish oil, after 2,5 months of smoking with that he stopped.

I know for a fact that if he smokes another regular cigarette again he'll go straight back to smoking, this is why we are trying to get rid of the cigarette materials in the house, etc... The electronic stuff can be kept case it helped him getting out, but the serious stuff has to be removed from his life or he'll go straight back to it.

One of my uncles also now requires to be dealt with a heavy hand, case of his bad drinking alcohol habits, before everytime my family came there we'd offer a Wine, now we had to switch case he overplayed his liver.

Being Strong or Weak is a good start but the long term fix to this is about setting rules and boundaries daily to stop the addiction, this isnt like a Fallout game where a character can just "tough it out" of a drug addiction out nowhere, the addict has to be 100% aware of the cons of what they are doing and they need to be punished for being a addict so they'll stop, case you dont just lawfully stop a addiction, a strong person would clearly not even be a addict to anything in the first place, from coffee, to smoking all the way to drugs, the fact addicts exist, is already due to either them being weak or having enablers.

  8. Nice Point of view, but if there is something i'll disagree with about it will be this, Some people including myself got addicted because nobody explained the Danger of PMO in the first place, they saw P#*! the first and it was funny and made them enjoy their time and it goes likenthat, Nobody ever told me the danger it.

In life we don't have the rules, we need to think and analyse and create the rules!
And our enviroment create what we will become once we're old.

If you were born in a family of Addicts fron all kinds, chances of being part of that as a young kid is super high.

If you were born the Son of Billionaire all you'll be meeting daily are Business men.

If you were son of a boss cartel, you'll be meeting Criminals since young age. The definition of Drugs itself is totally different from the dictionary definition.

A strong person to me is a person who understand the rules and understand the danger it has on his life and drop it all at once! Despite being part of a toxic enviroment!

  9. You are sober, not healed. Same for us porn addict. We can be sober for the rest of our life but never "Complete healed", just discipline and determination. A relapse after 5 years can re-activate the mechanism in just 1 fap.

  10. Many son of millionaries become addicted to drugs, because they had everything in life, 0 conquest, just received everything. The only things that really work for them, in my opinion, is:
    -Become Stoic
-Follow Jesus life style, sell everything.
-Buy a piece of land in Canada and get isolated from the society
    But there is other examples.
A vicious life in my opinion will brings to a drug addict or a corrupted men.

This is some half truth, it's true that Jesus life style can help and sell everything also can help, but what really helps is doing volunteer work like one episode of Dr. Phil showcased.

When you already start rich, you'll only work out of compassion or self-ambition on something different from a monthly paycheck, which is what most rich kids nowadays need to be taught.

  12. Also. Anyway we are thinking this with our mind, we cannot understand what a men is searching for, we cannot enter in his brain, maybe the subject we are talking is a epicurian follower. My answer to this is different than your of coure but only him (the rich) can decide to follow this path (Free itself from materialism, money, ecc...) or find another path (these we are talking about, for example)

I think one can come to terms with one's demons...
Something like "ok drunk demon, I will allow you to rejoice yourself, but only at my birthday, my best friend's birthday, and new year's eve, the rest of the time, my rules" and "ok pothead demon, you need to be totally caged a bit longer, I cannot negociate with you yet, you may try to take over....I know you"
and then yes of course the pmo demon wich is more like "You cannot restrain me mortal!!!" But here we are....fighting our demons...

You cannot complete deny who you were, just become better, and treat to those behaviours like demons in the back of your head you need be wary of but not be scared of either.

That's what the, once an addict, always an addict, means.

There's one main thing that can help a fapper and thats getting out of 20s-30s, the older you get the less libido you'll have which in turn equals less fapping, it's not comparable to getting back into drugs after your older case of the libido decrease.

  15. virtue is a reversed vice! try to balance is the secret i suppose at this point. anyway isn't a demo n is a parassite/archon/animal consciousness, or our ego. there is that internal voice when you want to fap that say "don't do that" and another that want you to do it.

I don't know, I think several weeks. I just searched for a rehab place in my city and it says "1, 2, 4 or 12 weeks".

But I think you should get informed about P.A.W.S. (Post Accute Withdrawal Symptoms) wich hit you even after recovery, and can last for more than a year.

  17. Does this P.A.W.S happen to people on NO PMO, as well ?

If you ask a typical heroin addict or past heroin addict if there's something they wish for, the typical response is "I wish there was some kind of pill that would make me forget how good heroin feels" or sometimes "more heroin". Does that answer the question?
