How many days does Drug Rehab take for an Addict ?

This is an interview I found years ago that I think should be mandatory viewing for anybody prescribed painkillers, considering taking any drug harder than cannabis or mushrooms, or maybe even everybody:

I was a Probation Officer for 30 years and my experience with drug rehabs is that at least a 28 day to a 18 month program was needed to start the process of getting clean if that’s what your asking. However there are so many drugs now to help you, it may not take that long. Methadone helps many opiate addictions even today.

 

Damn man when I listen to this kind of crap or see Trainspotting my mind blows with the posibilities, that's freaking scary.
