    Hello fellow Fapstronauts,

Today is the day when I have decided to end my life!
My life full of disappointments, anger, sadness, lack of motivation...

I am 35 and i don't remember the day without jerking off... that's sad!
Just few days ago I've split with my girlfriend. I've told her some silly excuses but the true is that at the beginning of our relationship I wasn't interested in porn... butterflies motivated me for not even 2 weeks. Then I've started again! It turned out (not the first time) that I preferred watching porn rather than having sex with my partner! I feel so guilty! I know it's all my fault not having normal relationship longer than few months, then just excuses to end it without any sensible reason...

So, today is the day when I have decided to end my life!
End my shitty life and start a new one! Free of being a prisoner of myself!
I've spent whole day looking for websites like this and finally I've found people with similar problem. I am full of hope that this time, with your help I am gonna make it!
I am ready for this war! It won't be easy but I believe that your stories will get me through :)

Please feel free to tell me your story, I am here to help myself and YOU as much as i can!

    Welcome
Please, start studying carefully what's happening in your mind > https://oceanrecoverycentre.com/2016/07/the-ultimate-guide-to-overcoming-internet-porn-addiction/

First time without porn will be stressful , but if you resist , in some months you will feel reborn.

If the first times a person relapse easly, it's okay.
The streaks becomes even longer , day by day.
Don't porn anymore, it's better to struggle and at the last to relapse than to look at porn.
No more instagram pictures of models. No more erotic imagines , erotic stories or erotic asmr.
If you experience ''flatline'' and low libido , resist.

We should improve in all area of our life, just being dissatisfied or stressed makes us relapse.

An effective weapon to overcome urges and thoughts : mindfulness.
The brain will try to win you and to get some triggers for the seek of dopamine. Resist

That was so, also for me

A powerful man is not the one who conquers a city but the one who conquers himself. Do your best. We are all in the same boat.

Thank you @palindromo for all these materials.
The problem is that I am fully aware of all these changes to our behavior! Currently I am interesting in meditation, mindfulness, yoga, Win Hoff method and all which can help me with my addiction!
I have finally found a support in this forum and I am more that happy to share my story with all of you!

Pleased to share our experiences, it feels better.

I can tell you that it is useful at least for me to have even a small goal of time without PMO. I am not using YouTube, social media and whatever could lead me astray, it was a matter of relapse into "porn" for me.

The equation: I use something "soft" to stay away from something "hard", with me it never worked I can say that at the end, it was worse.

The mind tries to find replacements for our obsessions and addictions, we must prevent this possibility, remain confident, busy with things that are pleasant for us and others, healthy, mark our progress, and the results will be seen.
If you check there are so many useful tips here on the forum.

Let me know how it goes, you can write to me. Enjoy your day.

    Welcome to NoFap!

I just got on here a couple of weeks ago and it has been a game changer. I have been fighting PMO for 15 years and I finally feel like I found a place that has answers. And people that are open and honest about their struggle as well which is super encouraging.
