Recovery signs?

    Relapsed again in the last two days, that makes 3 relapses this "year".
    Dose abstaining from MO/PMO will improve erections?
    MW will be back harder? After 9 10 days of no PMO i started to have some MW, but is not that hard, only 50 70% and is not lasting that long, 5 min tops, and if i get up, i lose it in one min or less.
    Spontaneous erections, will those come back to? In the last week some times i sense something down there like i m about to get hard, but is like hitting a wall or something and can t go hard...
    When i get hard on MO or P, i lose it fast if i don t stimulate, is gonna get fixed in time if no more PMO?

    I hope you can give some answers, i m getting desperate here, i m stressed, depressed...

  3. I am 4 months on nofap with very little to no improvement. This could take a long time for severe cases.

    I started again this year, had 10 days , then 6 ...
    I don t know how severe my case is, but is bad from my point of view, not being able to get a stiff erection that last more than one min without stimulation, is severe...
    i don t know how severe is from sex perspective, i m no longer in a relationship, i m to afraid to try a relationship right now ( i m not really in to casual sex or escorts/prostitutes)

    good thing is if the last time you relapsed you could get it up with p, you are not having any physical issues so forget about it and move on. I have PIED but stressing over morning wood and spontaneous erections should be the last thing on your priority list. MW does not happen every time even with no PIED cases because it depends on what stage of sleep you wake up from, so its not a accurate way to look at your recovery. For example if you go to job and wake up by alarm clock or some sound, you are probably not gonna have a MW.

    Exercise, hydrate, get enough sleep, have at least mediocre productivity, stretch, meditate, socialize etc. literally forget about erections because in reality you dont really need them anyway unless you are having sex and having erections for no reason can actually make your reboot harder.

    PIED recovery can last for months and months, even over a year. Gabe Deem is a famous case who could not get it up at all for 9 straight months and needed another 9 months to recover fully.

    From my experience, PIED comes back extremely quickly after relapse so relapsing every few weeks or even months is not going to get you a success recovery story.

    If I could choose, i would choose NO SPONTANEOUS ERECTIONS AND NO MORNING WOOD AT ALL for the next 2 years, or even for life why not? That would be absolute blessing, not even in disguise.

    I also know that I had MW and spontaneous erections from day 1 and had no normal erections during sex for 8 months of nofap and rewiring! So why would I care about MW when it does not even mean anything really. It does only mean that my thing is working but I already know that because last time I relapsed it worked.

    Is not the problem of getting it up for me (kind of), i can get it up with P and without P, it takes a few sec without... My problem is i can t get a stiff erection, only 80%+/- i can manage. I know that 80% should be enough to perform, but not being able to hold it up for more then one min without stimulating, is freaking me out some times.

    Depending on what your P habits were like, it could take a lot longer than you seem to expect. I've been doing nofap since early November 2020. Mostly week long streaks ended by MO resets. I had one streak of no PMO for roughly 21 days but had an MO reset, which eventually led to 3 PMO relapses (brief sessions) throughout the following 10 days or so in late December. I'm now closing in on my first 30 day streak of no PMO. I'm beginning to get MW again (sometimes 90% hard) but I don't think that means much. Like Nick said, getting hung up on erection status in non sexual situations (i.e. testing firmness, using P, MW, etc...) is not only useless but will most likely slow your recovery down.

    What are your daily habits like outside of P?

    Also, feel free to ask any questions about my personal experience if you feel that more info would help.

    Since then , i usually last 6 9 days before relapse,and that is from testing to much or just a peek on some nudes, but when i relapse, i m in binge that day up to 3 times, because of pleasure and/or guilt.

    How long dose your MW last? When you are in bed and when you get up?

    MW and libido flashes only last about 30 seconds to a minute. I think I may just be coming out of a flatline but it's hard to tell. To be honest, my sleep schedule hasn't been the best lately with covid shutdown happening and probably unhealthy amounts of screen time (netflix and youtube) before bed. I usually don't go to sleep until 11pm or midnight and I get up around 9am. I've also had some really bad insomnia on occasion.

    I'm currently around 36 days since last PMO and about 27 since last MO. One thing I can say for sure is that it gets soooo much better after the first 3 weeks. Hang in there man, you're worth it. You care enough about yourself to have come here so you're exactly where you need to be. Again, feel free to ask as many questions as you'd like.
