    dnt think beers a good sub. why not creat something instead, and art project perhaps something that requires focus and attention. or a good workout always helps.

    Every person has their own way of improving and transforming their lives. Nofap is one useful sacrifice. I have found that the more vices I am able to remove from my life, the more powerful and attractive I become, and the better results I have reducing my own inhibitions naturally with willpower. I recommend journaling daily what works and what doesn't. Personally I've found alcohol to make everything worse, but I also drank for many years more than I should have. Only you know what you're going through, keeping track of the day to day can really help.

    Fantastic. Artwork, creative writing and exercise are perhaps the best ways to feel dopamine while expanding yourself. Even a video game could be a good "cheap thrill substitute"

    I agree with what was said here about alcohol. If you're experiencing powerful cravings and are trying to exercise self-control - alcohol would not help you in any way. If anything it will make you more likely to throw all caution to the wind and indulge.

    Exercise, meditation, reading, a "nice" cold shower, watching a (non-arousing) show or movie, or just sitting there experiencing the craving and doing nothing about it would all be better choices.
