First car

  1. Very true! My dad had always loved lifted K5 blazers and Broncos. I just recently purchased a lifted 79 Bronco. I had the biggest grin driving it around since it reminded me of my dad and all of the fun times we had with these vehicles. It also reminds me of the time cars were just gears and gas and not full of computers.

Buy a car that you can afford to repair! I don't get it how there are people who even take loans to buy expensive cars, but they are paying rent or they are staying with their parents. I don't think that a car it's a status symbol. I mean I would rather have lots of money and drive a Honda than take a huge loan from the bank to buy a brand new BMW. After all, there are many places that have used cars for sale and you will find many good deals. A car is a necessity for the majority of people. You don't have to buy the latest model in order to be happy

1989 Nissan Sunny. A tasteful gold colour. In 2007 :D

Decent enough for the price, although the sunroof leaked all over my best suit while i was driving half hour from home. Dry clean only and the suit colour came off all over my shirt. I climbed on top of the roof and sealed the sunroof up with bathroom sealant, haha.

Didnt last a year as someone drove into the indicator light, and it was so cheap the insurance wouldnt cover the cost of repair. I did love it, great old fashioned boxy solid looking car, every car ive had since has looked so generic.

My first car is a 2012 Toyota Corolla. I am happy with this vehicle. I think that this is the best option for beginners. It's small, and it's the perfect type of car to learn basic city driving. I have it since 2019, and I never was to a mechanic with it.

1974 (if I remember the year correctly) Opel Rekord D. Four speed manual with a manual choke. Took me all over Germany and France.

  7. I don't even have my driver licence yet, not even the code haha, but if I had the money for it my first car would be... probably a Lamborghini Countach. Best looking car I've ever seen!

2002 Chevy s10, 4 banger. In fact I still have it and it hasn't even hit 100k miles yet so it's still running like a champ.

Red 2007 Subaru Forester. Bought in 2016 with 220,000 km mileage (I'm the 7th owner, I think). I still drive it, to work, and on business, and to the store. I can drive it to the sea in the summer or to another city it is also no problem to go. It was terribly shabby at the moment of purchase, but I'm gradually putting it in order. I have already done a lot and don't regret it. It's now looking like a car from car museums. For any car, you need to watch - then you have no problems. Not going to sell it, because I love it. I think you have that feeling too.

1995 Ford Escort. I guess it was a gift from my parents for getting a driver's license. Only had it for 11 months before my sister borrowed it and she was crashed into, totaling it.
