Is this a reset and should I just start again?

    Hey everyone

    Hope all is well, basically I felt like I was doing really well

    Yesterday I was with someone I found attractive, nothing happened but I got aroused. I fantasised a little bit and did get an erection but I didn't carry on I tried to stop thinking about it. I'm worried this is edging. I don't know whether to start again as I don't wanna be ill or get any back up of anythingZ

    If you didn't touch yourself, it's not edging, and no need to reset.

    Thanks so I shouldn't just do it to clear myself out sorry to be rude lol, not that I was there for ages edging I was just aroused and fantasised slightly but then stopped myself

    Hi there. While I normally advise that if someone asks whether they've relapsed, then in their own mind they probably have, in your case I think you're being needlessly hard on yourself. The whole point of NoFap is to control your temptations and urges, which you are absolutely going to get by abstaining.

    It's not the thought that makes you relapse - it's your choice of action afterwards that does, or doesn't.

    Well done for overcoming temptation - keep going!

    Definitely not a reset. In some cases, getting aroused whilst seeing a fully clothed real lady can be a good thing. At least it wasn't porn..
