    So here's my story...

I was first introduced to Porn by bad friends when I was 10 years old, days passed and I have never thought that watching Porn would impact my life this badly, maybe because I didn't have the awareness to know the truth about this industry, or maybe I rejected the idea that porn might actually hurt me.

After all the searching, and studying, I finally discovered the Nofap community when my true recovery began, so I started reading people's success stories and thoughts about this addiction, I got inspired and motivated so I began writing down my plans to get clean.

it took me 5 years of trying and failing until I finally gathered all of my resources and the knowledge I needed to turn this chapter and move forward with my life, and I'm honestly writing this post not to brag about myself but to give hope to people who are still going through hard times.

I still have a long way to go because I believe Nofap is the beginning of the journey to discover and reach my full potentials.

I do regret the 15 years of my life being addicted, depressed, and unmotivated, but after all, I'm here writing my success story and I'm actually smiling, feeling happier than the day I graduated from college, the feeling of freedom is so sweet.

So Here are some Benefits I noticed during the 90 days :
    - Inner conflict is disappeared and feeling of guilt and shame is gone.
    - became more productive and creative as I have more time and energy.
    - took responsibility to take care of my family's needs. I used to shut my family out and keep them away.
    - I've become more calm and peaceful.
    - I enjoy doing little things.
    - I became more organized and motivated.
    - fewer mood swings.
    - I'm focusing more on improving myself as NoFap revealed the cons in my personality.
    - feeling more sensitive to life and what's around me.
    - I no longer have distorted self-Image and improved self-esteem.

Here are some Resources helped along the way:

    - your brain on Porn book by Gary Wilson, helped me understand how scientifically porn affects the brain, and how our brain changes when we watch it and how it becomes so addictive.

    - the power of habit by Charles Duhigg, helped me understand how we develop habits and patterns and how to recognize those patterns to break free from any bad habit.

    - porn free radio By Matt Dobschuetz, helped me connect the dots with my feelings and gain awareness of these feelings and how to deal with unpleasant emotions in a healthy way. He also talks about his experience as a porn addict in the past and how he managed to break free.

Brothers. I wish you all the best in your journey and trust me every day you fall and get back up is the day where you become stronger, thank you for your love and support.

note: excuse my English, it's not my native language :))

thank you, I have a new set of goals now, for Nofap I'm going for 365 days pmo free, and for my career planning to start my own business, I also want to work more on my social skills, commit to self-development to learn more, and helping other people as much as I can.

Hey, man, Congrats. I was here on Nofap for about 5 years before I could even get to my current streak. I hit 90 days once before, but relapsed soon after.

I am glad that the benefits you describe are in bounds and realistic, because often the superpowers that people think they might get are quite ridiculous. But, I agree with everything on your list, plus more.

I just want to warn you to be careful now. The addict-self can even now trick you into relapse. At this level, one starts to think that one might be cured and even experiment with testing erections or looking at P substitutes. This is a trick of the addict-self to make you relapse - it especially runs heavy from days 110-to 120s, even. Don't rationalize and play around here. Of course, individuals may differ in all symptoms or timings to some extent. Amazingly, once you get through that phase, one enters an amazing threshold (130-140 days +) where PMO is no longer even a temptation, and one has no bodily urges or inclinations for it anymore - at most, just some nice male revitalizing energy in one's balls. But, it doesn't command addictive behaviors or relapse anymore and it doesn't hurt or cause discomfort. If one falls at 150+, it is more of an intellectual consent than any pressure from the sex organs themselves, although hormones are always running through the body and affecting sexual thoughts, too. So, one must always be careful. Now that sexual energy is no longer internalized or brought inward with PMO, one is more susceptible to externalizations for sexual energy. Keep a watch on the psubs, street temptations, or other external triggers particular to yourself. These are still viable. And, of course, I'm speaking from a no-PMO hardmode path myself. I'm not sure whether O's from legitimate sex make recovery more difficult or not - since there may be chasers and other needed resets in the testicles, as if one drained by periodic MO's - maybe, maybe not.

    Best wishes!

thank you very much for the advice and insights you provided, after day 90 I felt empty, but then I realized my recovery just started. I'm currently still affected by the chaser effect after wet-dreams, but it has less impact than before. I exercise regularly (planning to increase the intensity) to keep my hormones balanced and also I'm lately focusing more on my diet, I eat light food in the evening like fruits and green salad to avoid any digestive problems.

Congratulations! I am new here and it is interesting to read the success stories of others, it gives me hope that I will be able to quit. Quitting this would be a big achievement for me because I have not been able to quit after trying countless times, I know this is not good for me but I will hopefully succeed to quit eventually

Don't underestimate the importance of wet dreams - they are natural means of a "balanced" male biology taking care of itself. Yes, there could be chaser effects, but these should be temporary and certainly not the same as when you abused yourself with unnatural MO on demand at any instant. Also, just don't replay the dream in your mind over and over. Like most other dreams, if you don't even attempt to recall them or record them, they tend to vanish and fade quickly. Overall, though, wet dreams are good things - try neither to suppress them nor encourage them. Let your brain and body decide for you, just like you don't need to advise your brain or body when you want to breathe.

BTW, how is your psub control going?

    Best wishes!

Awesome post. I’m back on track and I’m not looking back. I’m entering flatline now which is great. The calm and peace is so true when you get deep into a streak. Also about not having guilt or shame. Can’t wait until I’m back to over 150+ days and beyond.
