Peeked but closed after a second

    Hello guys, im on day 5 of my streak, and i peeked but stopped myself. Any tips in how to stop fantasizing and peeking?

  2. Distract yourself! You have to replace your habit of watching porn with something else or else you’ll end up going back to the default settings.

    You just did it you came on here and talk that what I find that work. Talking to people or just reading what other people have done works great because you can relate to it since we are all going thought the same thing

    No, it is not a relapse. BUT.
    Peeking is a sign that a relapse is near. I am telling this from my personal experience. Now the only thing that can help you out is your will power and habits.

    Here are some tips for you:
    1) Do not try to peek again.
    2) No unnecessary touching and checking.
    3) Kill your curiosity.
    4) Block sites just to be safe. But, do not test whether the sites are blocked.
    5) Distract yourself with productive stuff.
    6) Be near other humans. Don't be alone.
    7) 4-7-8 Breathing technique to calm your mind which is fantasizing. 4 counts of inhalation through nose, 7 counts of hold and 8 counts of exhalation through mouth.

    I have to implement these on myself from this moment onwards too.

    Fill your day with activities. Start doing a lot of stuff so you have less downtime. Most people can never go through with this though.
     
  7. The reason you went on was because you were letting those thoughts enter your mind - which is natural if you've been doing it for many years. But you have to monitor what's going on in your mind, if you find your mind wandering then get busy and do something that will take your mind off it. If you do have any thoughts, immediately turn all your devices off and get away from the internet.
