Does PMO stop you from lucid dreaming?

I doubt any research has ever been done on this topic.

 

I don't know about lucid dreaming, but back when I was heavily addicted I never dreamed, or at least I didn't realize it.
The further I got into my streak the more I started to dream again. This was very strange because I kinda thought I stopped dreaming because that's normal for adults.
The only downside are porn dreams. I've also dreamed that I relapsed just a few days ago.

If you have a lucid dream then you have a choice as to whether it's a porn dream or not though right?

I had lucid dreams back when I hadn't even started NoFap. A lot of people (including myself a couple of times) even use lucid dreams as a form of masturbation.

I hardly ever lucid dream but I haven't noticed any difference.

 

I've never lucid dreamed but being on long streaks does tend to make me dream more in general.

I've noticed when I do PMO I don't even have dreams.
When I'm on NoFap I can control them.

 

I'm lucky enough that my pineal gland hasn't been calcified too much as I can still recall my dreams after every night and naps, but I have not been able to lucid dream yet and control them. Havent allowed my sexual energy to travel that far up yet. But soon it will happen.

 

At the begining of a relapse it wont be a problem, it can even help because you will be more relaxed and will sleep better.

But if you keep adding sexual images into your head, continue PMO, dreaming and having deep sleep becomes harder.
So the quality of your sleep will be worst so more difficult to lucid dream

 

Idk but I had a decently long streak recently after a long PMO binge. Each night I had vivid dreams. The first night was so interesting I wrote a 3000 word summary of it. I'm pretty sure it was lucid as well. Maybe there is some correlation. I definitely dream more when I'm on a break from pmo.

 

From my experience the more I advanced my streak the weirder my dreams got.. like really weird. Before when I used to heavily use I barely dreamt at all. Now that I'm getting good streaks, I'm noticing that nearly every night I'm having really vivid dreams.
