33yo with PIED, just started rebooting - should I keep my expectations up?

Hi everyone, I'm a 33 yo guy and I have severe PIED. By severe I mean that in my whole life, I managed to have full sex intercourse only 4-5 times. All other times were with the yellow pill, but recently not even that one has been working. Read my journal if you're curious about my story.
Now I've started rebooting, hoping that I can rewire and reobtain my funtionalities. Honestly I don't know what to expect, but I'm willing to try.
What gives me hope is that, last year, during the first lockdown, I dramatically reduced fapping due to lack of privacy at home, and after some months I managed to have sex once without medications.
Any feedback or advice is welcome!

Hi friend, you're not alone with this. I am the same age and it's been a bumpy and inconsistent sexual journey for me. Very pleased you felt the benefits of reduced consumption of P.

Is this your first time attempting a reboot/NoFap?

    Hey @Longtime27, thanks for replying.
This is my first official attempt at rebooting. As I mentioned, last year I had this period with reduced PMO, but not an actual reboot.
Before this, I have consumed porn daily for over 10 years, and in the last months it has become the only way for me to get it up.
I doubt I'll ever have a healthy sex life, but I guess it's worth the try, right?

Why wouldn't you ever have a healthy sex life? Just do NoFap and stay the course, no?

It's up to you, but you never know what is around the corner if you take a new path right? From the many testimonies and scientific study, if you keep doing PMO, you pretty much know where that path leads... to more negativity and insecurity.

The new path of breaking that habit... who knows where that might lead?

Good that you realized the yellow pill is not a solution, what's frustrating you most right now regarding PIED?

It shouldn't be hard to overcome PIED, for how long have you been struggling with it?

Hi @TantraMan, mine has been on/off for around 17 years. There have been points where i've pushed passed the need for meds, but I am still in the process of breaking apart old habits and desires to reconnect with a more natural sexual energy. If you want to chat on PM i'd be happy to hear any suggestions you have

I'm on day 80 something and my PIED is getting better. The last time I had sex was around day 50 and it sort of worked but no really well. I will see my girl again in a couple of weeks so I'll have something to compare. My previous streak was around 9 months (I didn't count days) and my PIED was not an issue after the first few months. There is hope is what I'm saying. Just stick with it. I'll report back after my next date with my girl.

Hi, I've struggled with it ever since my first physical contacts with other people, i.e. 14 years old...
