So I'm thinking once the group feature is once again activated on the website, a musicians group would be most welcomed. Expressing our frustration tough music sounds pretty cool.

    LoZ fan, good sir?

Also, guitarist + vocalist. Big fan of open-tuning. I picked up the mandolin recently :D

I just picked it up recently (a month ago). Any fun contemporary songs to learn?

    Hey fellow dude man!

Well just about any song can be done on mandolin if you get the chords! But specifically for mando there's Losing my Religion by r.e.m. which is fun. Then there's heaps of Folk stuff you can learn like Fleet Foxes and Mumford and Sons! What sort of music do you like?

Ya-huh! Although...I've only ever gotten to play Phantom Hourglass...I'm really missing out..I DO have a transverse ocarina though (the kind used in OoT)! As well as an inline one.

    And a harmonica I can't play..a guitar missing a string..that I also can't play.

    Hm

Fleet Foxes!!! I thoroughly enjoyed their self-titled album. I think I found my solid starting point now! ^^
    I listen to a lot of alternative-rock, post-rock, and indie-folk. Yourself?

    Awesome!!!

And yes I love that stuff - as well as that I'm also a prog rock fan! Anything that pushes the musical boundaries!!

I don't have much time available to see many indie bands live though - but I saw London Grammar a while back and they were phenomenal! Oh yeah and fleet foxes played at the opera house which was one hell of an amazing concert - there were like 20 instruments on stage it was crazy. Mandolins included!

Have you had a chance to see many bands live?

Prog rock? Dream Theater comes to mind! And maybe Coheed & Cambria? lols

Tbh I haven't been to a lot of live bands. I got to see Fall Out Boy nearly a decade ago, and Foster the People and this band called Toe recently, but that's about it.
