Today I´m one month into hard mode, monk mode and 308 days no PMO
Monk mode feels amazing I really like to do it once in a while I expect to go full monk mode for at least 1.5 years more.

    How to I do it?
Well I think I discover love through an amazing ex girlfriend, that experience made me realice PMO and casual sex its just tasteless compare to a healthy loving relationship.
We broke up a month ago because she went to live in another city but the experience was invigorating.
I also like the mountain yogis and hermits so you can say I have a monk and ascetic personality so thats why i´m doing hard monk mode right now.

    My routine:

morning: I wake up early and do breathing and apnea exercises.
Cold showers getting use to it not always do it in the morning because im afraid i might get sick.
Gym heavy lifting 4 times a week, yoga 1-2 times a week, movement practice 2-3 times a week.
Meditation not as much as I would like to but I do it, I just focus on my breathing 15- 30 min seating or move my sexual energy around my spine and body to release sexual tension.
No IG, Facebook or any other social media. I use BlockSite in my pone, no youtube or tv
I dont look at girls with lustful eyes
    Clean diet

I read spiritual books for example practice of brahmacharya by swami sivananda its the best book in my opinión about NoFap, celibacy. I´m no hinduist, i´m a zen practitioner if you are not religious it doesnt matter its a very intesting book heres a link https://www.dlshq.org/download/brahmacharya.pdf.

Benefits of 1 month monk mode

    Increase mental and physical strenght

    Less fear

First off , congratulations on your success brother! Thank you for sharing this gem, I'm looking to get into zen practice. Any other book recommendations?

Also, do you still experience nocturnal emissions or have you managed to stop them? I had my first one on my journey yesterday , none sexual dream and I'm hoping to stop it from happening or at least increase the time between them.

    Thank you in advance!

    1. Book: one of my favorite books is zen mind begginers mind by susuki roshi, its great just to understand life in general and meditation.

    2. Wet dreams:
I only experienced nocturnal emisions like 1 time maybe. I dont think they are so good as many here say it is, well there is a physiological nocturnal emision when there is alot of semen acumulated that you ejaculate and there is not sexual dreams involved and that should happen like every 3 months in the process of spermatogenesis. And you feel great the day after.

But if it's related to a Sex dream then it's not ok, you loose alot of semen and If this happens alot then you loose high amounts of energy.

I think the key to stop wet dreams is or just having Sex so you dont have the subconscious need to have sex or you go monk mode, that means no porn, no fantasies during the day about Sex not looking at girls with lustful eyes. You have to make peace with your sexuality other wise wet dreams wont disapear.

Thank you for sharing! I will purchase the book, look forward to adding some knowledge with this regard.

Oh wow, just the 1? That's impressive! I should clarify on my part, I'm at 119 days of no porn. On my first streak of 72 days, I edged a few times (about 10) and engaged in fantasy. I masturbated (without porn) thinking that it would help with the severe insomnia I was facing. How wrong I was and I regretted it right away. I hadn't raised my awareness enough. On this streak, I have not edged at all and any semblance of a sexual thought that pops into my mind, is automatically killed off, I do not lust after them nor engage with them. Those pops ups are MUCH less frequent. I don't use social media and only watch TV 2 hours a week, documentaries and nature related programs. My goal is to go monk mode for the next year, at the least.

Do you do any retention specific exercises? For example kegels or Eight brocade exercises?

Thanks again for taking the time to respond to me
