    Hi all,

This is my first post here, I am 27M, watch PMO for 13 years. Last 2 months I meet my current GF and the first few sex I can ejaculate thought imagining porn when I have sex with her. But for the last few sex I just barely build up the libido and go soft within like 10 minutes.

It is very discouraging and make me want to quickly validate that I can ejaculate while having sex. Luckily my GF is being understanding. Should I just go on hard mode or standard mode? How long it is expected to take to fix me problem? I really want to enjoy sex with real human. Sometimes I wonder if it is my GF not sexy enough to arouse me, but I must confess that my standard is super high and it is quite rare for me to find girls that I find very attractive on the street.

Stop watching porn and continue having sexual relations with your gf. Over a period of time you'll recover.
Everytime you get an urge either control it or do something with your gf but don't masturbate.

I used to think the same as you but no, it is not your high standards that prevents you from having a proper erection (that is unless if you're really not that attracted to your GF).

I know this because I've been there before; I used to fantasize sleeping with really attractive girls and on the few occasions that it did happen I would suffer from ED. This was one of the most demoralizing thing to ever happen to me and I absolutely hated it, hence why I'm back on being on nofap. I suggest that you do not make the same mistake as mine because PMO destroyed me and left me with regrets that I wouldn't have had had I not been watching porn for so long.

Everyone has their own reasons as to why they're on nofap and mine is simply to enjoy sex again without having to suffer from ED and feeling like a complete loser afterwards.

Also a quick test to see whether your ED is induced from porn or not is to see if you can get a full erection just from watching one video of a girl you find attractive without having to touch yourself, if the answer is no then chances are if you were to hypothetically sleep with that person in real life you would suffer from the exact same result (and also means that you should probably take a long break from watching porn).

Yeah the solution here is simple but not by any means easy, cut porn, masturbation and fantasising out of your life and rewire your brain through sex with your girlfriend. That's the solution. Best of luck man!

Your insight is extremely valuable. It is quite sure that i cannot have full erection to watch a beautiful girl in a video, may not even have slight erection Is this a trait any perfectly normal man should have?

Also, in my imagination i think i will be rock hard if i see super hot girl in real life. Too bad it did not happen and i wonder if my standard is just too high

I can definitely relate to the feeling of being loser. May i ask have you recovered and be able to pass the tests you mention?

That's a very dangerous dilemma to be in; if you think you can get hard from the sight of a naked girl in real life but yet can't get aroused when watching the same content through a screen then you're setting yourself up for a big time disappointment. Don't believe me? Go to a strip club and see if you can get an erection from the sight of these pretty naked girls, chances are you probably won't be able to. And no I personally don't think it is normal to not have an erection when watching porn, that's a clear sign of your brain being desensitized to the stimuli from repeated exposure of porn.

In terms of my recovery I'll keep you posted once I achieve a good streak enough to see a significant change in my ability to get hard, so far though I already see a little change from just 4 days of abstinence.

No... There's no problem as long as you avoid porn and masturbation. Having sex with your partner boosts the recovery process
