Ahaha you're very right! I do have a girlfriend, but as an Anglican I don't have to remain celibate!

  11. Day 10! Beautiful weather for some trail running with my exercise buddy. Went to church, sang in the choir, and made inroads on a nasty Spanish project. I'll make a mental note to remember today the next time I'm struggling.

I don't know if this is a NoFap thing or just me going through a phase, but I have been so bloody HUNGRY lately! All I want to do is eat!

Day 1 (going on 2, just early morning check in),

It has been a wicked weekend and something big hit me either Thursday night or Friday. Big time reset binge. A bit more level headed now, however, still in this odd state of confusion post reset. Just rolling with it all now and going to try to be more present and observant. We are at the changing of seasons so there is a big environmental shift going on now. What a great opportunity to take time to be as aware as possible.

    Thank you Brave Fellowship!

Day 90 no PMO :). I could not be happier with this. It is one of the greatest accomplishments in my life. I am proud of myself for sticking to this with ZERO edging or fishing. I had a few wet dreams and fantasized a couple of times but never orgasmed or indulged in my fantasies. I forced them out of my mind almost as soon as they started. It is by far the best reset I have ever done. It was nearly perfect. My previous reset was only 45 days and had plenty of edging and fishing.

At this point, I feel like I am truly maintaining. My porn cravings have drastically decreased, to the point where they are nearly non-existent, and I do not feel the urge to masturbate when I am stressed out or trying to fall asleep. I can control my urges and do not feel overwhelmed. I am a man and my sexual urges are still there but I now have a robust emotional toolkit for addressing them rather than simply indulging.

Some key takeaways from my 90-day reset:
    • Understand the difference between an outcome and a goal. 90 days no PMO is not a goal, it's an outcome. I will delete safari from my phone. I will put parental controls on my internet. I will run every day. I will journal every morning. I will be an active and constructive participant on the NoFap forum. I will go outside for a walk if I am feeling urges. These are goals! They will help you to achieve the outcome that is a 90-day no PMO reset, or whatever your desired outcome is. Write down your goals and stick to them 100% of the time.
    • You have to get through the first 10 - 20 days with ZERO edging, fishing, or fantasizing. THIS IS KEY. The first two weeks set the tone for the rest of the reset. Once you have two weeks of no edging, fishing, or fantasizing you will enter a flatline or maintenance period. Everyone is different and your mileage may vary on this
    • Journal. Use this website as a journal for checking in with yourself and how you are feeling. Do this every morning. Get everything off of your chest so that you can face the challenges of your day with a clear mind. Join a challenge like The Lord of the Rings Challenge that @RiseToGreatness created. Post a journal entry every morning.
    • Give back. Start caring for others on this site. Look through the posts for something that touches you and offer kind words of encouragement. Genuinely take the time to read other's posts and understand how they are feeling. Refrain from giving your opinion when it could upset or hurt someone's feelings. Everyone on this site is struggling in some way. You do not need to make it worse by vomiting your opinion at someone. This will give your reset meaning and reaffirm why you are doing this in the first place.
    • Exercise. PMO is a release valve. When you close it, you need to find a new one to release the pressure. Intense physical exertion is the best way. Ideally cardio. I know I know - you "hate running". So do I. But I hate being addicted to porn even more so I run every other morning. If you have the money, hire a running coach who will hold you accountable through an app. It will help you conquer your PMO addiction and get you into the best shape of your life. A win-win.
    • Give yourself something to look forward to. We are here because we have deemed the current approach to our sex lives to be unhealthy and detrimental. Like food, we have to live with sex. Sex can and should be a healthy aspect of everyone's life (my opinion). So what does a healthy sex life look like to you? A happier and more fulfilling marriage? Multiple partners and experimentation? Finding someone that you want to spend the rest of your life with? Write a detailed description (not too detailed ;)) of what you want your sex life to look like. Envisioning your ideal sex life will give your reset meaning and inspire you. This will look different for everyone.
This was the first major accomplishment of my journey but it is far from over. I am now entering what I call the rebuilding phase. I am working to construct my ideal sex life while continuing to abstain from PM. I am feeling extremely positive about the future and so grateful for this forum.

Checking in ! The relapse even after a long streak has a dire consequences. For me it resulted in the fits of absent mindedness yesterday( it felt like my attention was in an out on autopilot without much control) I drove trough the red light without realizing much of what's going on(red light camera flashed at me twice). Today I had bad headaches from the very morning for about 10 hours.Couldn't eat anything untill late in the afternoon.
I think PMO literally kills your immunity. So lads if there are drivers among us - don't repeat my mistake (PMO and drive) for it has significant influence on your control of attention to the road.
