I need a porn-blocking software that I CAN'T DELETE

Discussion in 'Rebooting - Porn Addiction Recovery' started by Deleted Account, Mar 7, 2021.

  1. Hey all, I'm looking to see if there are any softwares I can install on PC (and Android if possible) that blocks sexual/pornographic material that I cannot delete. Such as software with password protection (where I mash my keyboard for the password so it's virtually impossible for me to remember it/retrieve it).

I've been using chrome & microsoft edge extensions with password protection, however, those aren't proving useful as I can circumvent the password protection by uninstalling the extensions without having to type the password in. I require something that requires me to enter the password to uninstall/delete the software. Because I'm somewhat desperate, I do not mind paying a monthly subscription if it means I can rid my life of PMO for good.

Thanks, any informative replies are appreciated!

  2. Try Pluckeye for PC and Blocker X for Android.

But relying on Blockers to overcome this addiction and hoping that it will solve all your urges won't help, if that's what you're thinking. Porn blockers are really useful but it is also useful to have a good set of tools and things you do when urges hit so you are not trying to find ways to exploit the porn blockers.

    Hope this helps.

Focusme. Impossible to uninstall unless you factory reset your computer or wait 2 days for them to send you a reset tool.

I've done this before and ended up breaking the wifi on my laptop lol, I couldn't connect to my home's wifi at all so I'm avoiding using clean browsing, or that technique in general. Thanks for the response though :^)

  8. I just installed this and got the 30 day trial, I've turned the porn blocker setting on and made sure it's running 24/7, I can't turn it off either because I mashed my keyboard when setting the password. I tested it on multiple porn sites and the tabs all closed immediately. This app sounds very promising and if it works great for 30 days I'll def buy the paid subscription. Thanks!

The desire for this is all well and good, but you can't put software between you and porn, there is porn everywhere, instagram, magazines, ads online, whatever. YOU need to be your porn blocker. You will never be able to quit if the only thing keeping you from your addiction is software and not your own willpower. Now that doesn't mean don't use these tools, it just means they ARE NOT A SOLUTION. they can help a bit, maybe, but I would say stop looking for the perfect software and start building up your willpower. Cold showers, exercise, no eating added sugar or processed food. Get out there and become the person you want to be, it will be hard, I guarantee it will be hard. but everyday it will get easier.

  12. I get you, I understand that too, I try to eat healthy and workout regularly as I know not doing so will make the journey harder. Appreciate the support man! Goodluck to you too

  13. Power of will. Let's be honest here, porn is everywhere, EVERYWHERE, trying to block it would be like blocking the sun with your thumb. Bypassing any blocking software out there is a no-brainer, most of them are meant to be used on children.

You could find what you want here, at least for windows as android filters are not ready, yet.

You got this, just to be very clear not trying to bring you down at all, a porn blocker can be a good thing, but I honestly do think better "tools" are the extra stuff you can do like exercise or getting on a proper sleep schedule. With that said aswell, never beat yourself up if your primary goal is no PMO and your fitness or eating is suffering, be nice to yourself. Any time you react to a mistake by shaming yourself you are only increasing the chances of doing it again. Stay strong.

P.s. the best 'tool' that helped me was never doing ANYTHING in my bed except sleeping, because I was someone who always masturbated in my bed (and i would waste hours each day on my phone with reddit/youtube or other social media). Now if you masturbated sitting at your computer that's gonna be much harder to avoid, because you probably need your computer if you are a college student like me or something.

i,ve been there so many time. i even installed a porn blocker, then blocked the porn blocker app with another app locker, and also blocked my install/uninstall feature in my phone, and when i wanted to password protected, i give the phone to someone else to set the password twice that i couldn't know the password. i have no idea what the fuck i did that i was enable to uninstall the app locker and deactivated the porn blocker app to get my fix!!! writing this give me the shitty feeling that i'm just like those cocaine/hereon addicts that when they need to get high, they even kill innocent people to fix themselves up! and the fucked up thing is it's can't be controlled willingly !!!
but of course there is always hope. because i'm not going to spend the rest of my life like fucking junky!
i recently came a cross a new science that indicates that our under control behaviors are coming form are subconscious mind. this mind work's 24/7/365 until you die. it would never stop. however our conscious mind will shut off when we are going to sleep. Dr. Bruce H Lipton (youtube him) suggest that we can reprogram that mother fucker to our own wishes. i'm going to try that. there is hiccup though. as he says in the video subconscious mind can be like a 4 million bit per second processor and we want to control it by our conscious mind which works like a 40k bit per second proccessor. well do the math, this processor can't compete with a 4 million bit per second processor. so the only way is to go directly inside it and try to fix the wrong pathways and i'm guessing it will take a long time. i know you didn't figured it out what the fuck did i just said. just search the scientist name in youtube and you will be find out.

There's a book called How to quit porn by celibate yogi, its 55 pages long and the author promises you that if you read it you will quit porn, the reason why you need a porn blocker because there's still a thought pattern in your mind that supports the idea of turning on some porn. The book I read will tell the reasons why your mind feels so reliant to watch porn, I've read it myself and you can read my story about how I quit porn since june 2022 on my profile. The book called How to quit porn by celibate yogi was on Zlibrary where you can download free books, but I have downloaded it before Zlibrary was taken down, if you're interested about this book it takes an hour to read, and I promise it will literally change the way you see, think about porn and will help you not just "control" your urges with willpower but understand it and know that the urges you feel are just lies, lies to make you relapse and feel terrible with anxiety, low motivation, etc.. just dm me and I can send it to you privately, i dont know if I can send it here i dont want to break any rules but if someone can tell me please let me know
