Is watching thots on twitch doing yoga considered relapsing?

I'm on day 13 of a no porn challenge, but I find myself briefly checking out thots on twitch, is this relapse?

    I shouldn't do that right?

Are you asking because you already know or because you want reaffirmation? I would consider it a lapse, it's being done for a sexual reason, and that can't be excused because it's not traditional porn. Put labels on your use and consider what you should count as a lapse, I say any "purposely posted sexual content", so if I go looking at something that has purposely being posted that is sexual in nature I go back to day 1, obviously adverts on websites or in the street I can't help, but it's about putting honest lines in the sand and not giving yourself an excuse to do such as you have done. It's a slippery slope, you see a **** on twitch, you go on some lingerie sites, then BAM you're two hours down the line and have watched copious amounts of porn, be mindful!

    I hope this helps!

  3. It's really up to you on what you consider a relapse. This community is here to support your healthy sexual goals. For me, I would consider this as a porn substitute. The more you watch the more it'll lead you to relapsing. It depends on what part of the streak you're on. My opinion is that for the first 60 days you can be a little relaxed with rules, peaking here and there shouldn't count against your streak. However, after 60 days you should be more strict. No peaking and no masturbating. Use your time on something else. Anything else. Go for a walk, clean your room, start a hobby that is fun/interesting to you, etc.

  5. oh my man... I have been there plenty of times. You are prepping yourself for a relapse. Whether your doing it consciously or unconsciously. I’d advise you to stop.

Its softcore porn. The intent of these twitch thots is to get you to stroke yourself to them. They know what they’re doing.

I will reconsider calling women thots if you are trying to overcome a sexual problem like porn, that involves also changing your attitude and the way you express yourself about women, learn to respect them, even if they are actually thots.

Yeah I mean you can set your own parameters and what not, but I think for most people who have a problem with porn, watching girls do 'entertaining' stuff is a trap.

There's an argument for all porn, modelling, yoga tutorials, even staring at women in public - all of that - can be ategorised as 'watching behaviour'.

If your goals are to form real connections with women, i.e. form friendships, date, have sex, then you want to transition from 'watcher' to 'doer'.

I mean, if you give up watching any sort of stuff whatsoever, then eventually you're going to be magnetically pulled towards women in real life. Give up the pixelated women, and biology will do the rest.

Recovery is full of these things we never thought were a problem. I just through porn/escorts was my problem. And if I just stopped those things I would be fine. But then you realize there is so much more you've been using the same exact way. And now that you can't watch porn you tend to hold on to these other things. In almost 2 years of my recovery. I've deleted my Facebook, deleted twitter, snapchat , instagram. I deleted the yoga channel on my cable. I've put up app blockers so I can't access YouTube on my phone. And I have a parental guide on my desktop YouTube. Something as simple as a new music video can suck you in.
It's all about backing away slowly. You know what needs to be done with the twitch videos. Now find a way to cut this from your habits/life.. and if that means deleting twitch all together. Think to yourself how willing and far are you willing to go to recover?

The further you get into this the more you realize how much "harmless" stuff out there might not be harmless for you. For example, I was recommended a couple different stretching videos on YouTube and while the female models were completely clothed (yoga pants and tank tops) they were young and pretty with my favorite body type and while I didn't fap to them I was still visualizing them getting f'd and thinking about what I'd like to do with them. So I wrote down the routines and use that now instead of watching the triggering videos.

It's all about how stringently you're willing to discipline yourself and getting as creative in avoiding triggers as you had been in finding them before.

Oh yeah, I remember deliberately looking up 'guys doing yoga' during lockdown. I wanted help for the exercise, but I did not want the distractions lol!

Well, I don’t even know what that is, but if it is erotic in any way (which I suspect it is or why are you even bringing it up?) it’s not a good idea.

My take: if you’re not jerking off to it, it’s not a relapse. Yeah, but if you’re looking for relapse you’re sure heading in the right direction. So cut yourself a break. (Of course, without a day counter you’re not keeping score anyway, so I recommend starting one.)

Think about what you’re learning about yourself. Best wishes.

IMO if you did not masturbate, it’s not a relapse. Seems to be a popular “loophole” on both Twitch and YouTube to post sexualised content because it’s considered “yoga”. I’ve noticed Twitch does have a lot of things like sexualised ASMR, sexualised chat with subs, sexualised yoga and sexualised art. Just don’t watch it if you feel it’s triggering.

Thanks everyone for ur advices and opinions, means a lot
I decided to be strict with myself so I reset my counter,
deleted my twitch account to minimize tentation/triggers.
