I know that resisting PMO for a while is the best cure to stop watching porn but does it really give you confidence? I have gone around 30 ish days so I can't speak for everyone but I feel that the small amount of confidence I have gained has just been in my head.. What do y'all think?

If I have not misunderstood, you are asking the benefits of getting rid of PMO,right?(My shitty English...)
Well,I think on one hand you will have stopped hurting yourself physically and mentally once you give up PMO, on the other hand you will be able to save much time which you used to waste with PMO and you ll never be bothered by anything around PMO.
And I also believe by giving up PMO I will gain more confidence, I wont hear anybody talking about whether I have the habit, in a traditional country, that is embarressing.

    My views above.

  3. Agreed, confidence comes internally. If you internally believe that you don't like PMO yet you still engage in it, it will hurt your confidence. Vice-versa, if you engage in behaviors you internally see as "right" you will gain confidence from yourself. Which is the only source of lasting confidence, you can't get confidence externally (yes I mean if you're doing nofap just to get looks from girls, it won't last).

I have wondered the same things. I don't necessarily feel more confident. I've wondered if it was just in our heads. However, I'm not quitting for confidence alone. It would be a nice bonus, but I have other reasons to quit.

I had times like this when I thought nofap wouldn't really help. But after each relapse, I knew for sure it had helped me a lot. When it's gone you know what's missing.

I'm sure there are changes you have noticed. It's not just confidence but other things as well.

Did you also stop MO? I found that MO hurts me, too.
