I also found God in my nofap journey, more specifically when I broke a 100 plus streak. My initial idea was to do nofap and find some random girl to have sex with, my plans changed, and now I'm doing semen retention until I find a wife.

Great story man. Are you Catholic? The first time I went to confession 4 yrs ago was life changing for me. Praise God!

 

Made a similar experience. Tried to quit porn on my own for 10 years. Went to confession on January 2, 2021. After that, I prayed the rosary with the intention of purity many times. You know they say Jesus can't resist to provide any grace when it is his mother asking him for. She asked purity for me. Today on Good Friday at 12:00 I will be reaching 90 days of no PMO. This wasn't my work.

 

Amen brother, same thing here. I tried quitting many times before and always went back to it every time things got hard, but when I confessed the sin and what it did to me and prayed, all temptations weren’t tempting, and I also promised the Lord (something thich I was so afraid to do before) that I wouldn’t do it ever again, and since that day i can say I’m free!

I just want to share some advice which helped me reach my 80-ish days. When you start feeling down; flatlining, don’t dismiss the feeling, embrace it, feel it fully, be sad, cry even but after that get back up and keep on pushing!

 

Brother, I'm so happy you found Jesus and God!! PMO/sexual sin was the black cloud that was in between us and Christ. Keep walking with him in all the days of your life, even though the rest of the world is not. Trust in Christ, you won't regret it, it will all be worth it!!!

Why do people need God?

 

He made us man, so he knows what we need. We struggle so much on our own but if we can just see that God is only trying to help us. Things get simpler.

Happy that you found god and that you no longer suffer from PMO. This is something I needed to see. I have faith myself but I don’t go to church at all but have prayed very much to god to rid me of the social anxiety I deal with. PMO is something I’ve been addicted to for about 14 years and due to it I can only get weak erections. Told my mom about my issues and she told me to go to church just like you did. The inner voice inside has been telling me to go to church for a while but I just haven’t. I’ve just been ignoring the signs and I guess I’ve been afraid to go. Now that I see this post and see how much I can relate to it I know what I must do. Thanks for sharing your story. God bless you

Well, in video it says that man can't create things like babies, puppies, trees etc. Sure.
But man made God by writting Bible. So... If man can't make a tree but he can make a God. How much can I believe in that God? That God is made up and I believe less in him but believe more in trees.

 

Well, I think this pattern of thought is naive

We wouldn't like to bring religion into this but I know for sure that God does exist.
Let those who believe him, believe him.
You can always ignore if you don't.

 

Where did the paper come from that we wrote the bible on? It came from the tree. Or the skin of an animals back. And your Mother, where did she come from? Is she an accident? By mere chance a cell formed out of nothing? I'm sure you can see she is of inteligent design, not a mistake or a flaw of billions of years. We can see the wonders of new life explained through science but we cannot replicate it outside of Gods parameters. For example we can replicate conception in a test tube. But that is with Gods building blocks, a sperm and an egg. You cannot make these in a lab. If there is even a shred of possibility that there is a God. Do you not owe it to yourself to either prove or disprove it? I don't mean settling for a belief that he could or could not be. No, all you got to do is ask him. And have a look outside, open a bible and ask God to speak. Everything reflects a creator my friend. I will pray that God gives you open eyes and an open heart. If you seek you will find.

 

Did you wish that the bible had been written by whom, by dogs? I don't understand why you are so sure but you insist on wanting answers. If you know that God does not exist, then why do you feel uncomfortable when someone decides to seek God? Live your life, and leave us alone.
