Think of it; you have at least 5 senses, all of which are active when physically connecting with someone in real life. In porn, you have sight and hearing and that is about it. Plus due to video enhancements you don't really know what happened in real time in that was put into the video; aspects are routinely deleted, enhanced or changed. Sounds are routinely faked, with unwanted aspects of the action deleted.

Every woman I know has vaginal odors at least a good part of the month. I don't know a single woman in my experience over decades who would be willing to do gay for pay or the other demanding things involved in porn.

Porn seems to have created a false expectation of pleasure without negative consequences. You don't taste anything when watching porn; you don't smell anything, which I'm sure would be a major turn off in many cases with those involved; you don't touch anything either. Not a very trustworthy medium.

I seen fake videos of ridiculously gigantic penises. They definitely use camera tricks and other fakery to sensationalize the sex.

I just like to say that I would personally find it hard to get in the mood with bright camera lights shinning on me. I would also find it impossible to make sweet love with some guy getting right up and personal with a camera. Also there is zero intimacy there is no romantic evening prior to the shoot, no random cuddling, no intense emotional connection. I guess thats why a lot of the orgasm sounds you here are faked. How could you possibly have an orgasm with all that fakeness around you? I don't know maybe I'm wrong I have no idea.

My point is that our senses are our helpers in telling the real from the fake, but we are living in a world of fakeness, fraud, deception, illusions, the virtual, the apparent, and if it is real, the circumstances and when it happened are far removed from life. Many people have no interest in porn, the few that do because they are lonely, not engaged in life, guided by something other than good sense, need the help of others to realize what is going on.

  5. Do you know when I feel porn is fake.
It's when I see the camera. Every thing seems so,so,so fake, that I right away close the clip.

Not all of them, good on you to despise porn but be real for the sake of mental balance.

What I saw over my lifetime has been the change from the 1960s when it was alluring, plastic, airbrushed not very believable but titillating. The 1970s had the Hippie effect with a more natural tendency. The 1980s and 1990s was a race to the bottom with less and less natural pictorials. With the internet's effect in the 1990s and 2000s we saw an explosion of content, hard to accurately characterize. By and large what it became on the higher levels were attempts to acquire more and more money in an age of diminishing opportunities to do so with copyright infringements, etc. and judges and international entities unwilling to protect the claims of pornographers and others engaged in pimping and pandering which have been considered illegal activities in and of themselves. Now we have various forms of "art porn", designed to be more acceptable to mainstream society.

There was a blog where somebody took pictures of porn stars before and after having their makeup applied. It was usually a night and day difference, a lot of these girls are not exactly supermodels. Many are rather homely.

There was / perhaps still is a blog dedicated to mugshots from arrested porn stars. I don't recommend looking for it since it includes pictures or animated gifs of porn stars "performing" next to said mugshots. Again, a night and day difference in appearance. Most of them were arrested for drug related charges or prostitution while there are also a few that were arrested for very serious crimes. Last time I checked Cody Lane had the record for the most arrests, she has pretty much spent the last 15 years in and out of the slammer for drugs.

There's also a certain site that shall not be named that routinely posted compilations of behind the scenes pornstar breakdowns. Where a girl would just suddenly go ballistic during a shoot and start trying to claw the eyes out her fellow performers while howling like a wounded animal. I got the impression that this isn't exactly a rare phenomenon based on how the crew always reacts. They usually laugh about it and automatically move in between her and the expensive camera equipment and wait for her to get it out of her system so they can shoot the rest of the scene.

Some of them are in that kind of situation but let's be realistic.

But yeah, the idea that these girls are supermodels and are super happy all the time is just an illusion.

  9. Somewhat agreed. Who knows the reality but I would recommend you to watch Mia Khalifa BBC (news channel) interview on YouTube. She exposed the porn industry and revealed the untold truths of it.

Not going to lie, the clarification cracked me up for some reason hahahaha
Sure thing, I mean more amateurish, couples, and that sort of stuff, onlyfans, I would not categorize those things as trafficking etc. They are fairly a new thing also.

The old school and not so old school porn yeah, the industry has been revealed his true colours enough times for us to know.

The most unrealistic thing is the process, what you are sexually conditioning your self to.

You should be sexually conditioning your self to looking at a female, touching them, kissing them, hugging them, smelling their scent etc. Instead guys are sexually conditioning them self to going on their smart phone, computer and constantly clicking, searching, getting something new constantly, and at the same time they are masturbating, and guys edge, stopping them self from ejaculating, and have searched hundreds of different sexual content online, and have masturbated for hours before they ejaculate. Their brain has been tricked into thinking they have had a new level of sex and pleasure with hundreds of different supermodels in all these hardcore ways. Their brains has reached a new level of pleasure, dopamine going through the roof, and other pleasure chemicals, and staying high in the brain for a very unnatural amount of time. Then when guys do this enough times real woman can't match this level of seeking and pleasure and the guy ends up with no sexual cues to real life women and erectile dysfunction.

Hey regrading the Mia Khalifa interview - I watched the whole 20 something odd clip done on the BBC (via YouTube) about her career in porn. Firstly, she was only 21 - thats pretty young (I guess I'm showing my age) - Secondly, she showed how messed up the whole industry really is in that interview. Not only could she not remember things (because of adrenaline and maybe trauma) but she got paid basically peanuts even though the company she worked for made a lot of money.

So thank you to the person in this thread who suggested that it be looked up and watched. It really added more reasons for why I do not want to watch porn. I know some of you are thinking "Not everyone is exploited" but thats not good enough for me. I do not want to partake in an industry that does exploit some people. I don't want to take my chances watching a video then find that same woman on some news network years later telling everyone how horrific it all was - I personally can't live with the guilt and shame that would bring to me.

Sorry I don't think I contributed to this thread at all.

    Resume your discussion.

    Thank you.

  15. Very heart touching man! I was the one who recommended Mia Khalifa bbc interview and after some time I thought I shouldn't posted that because a lot of guys will get triggered and yell at me but you took it seriously and the best part about that you watched it. I watched some dark truths that other p stars revealed on camera and you won't believe that I somewhat cried. One of them said that 70% of the p videos are rape videos in which women are abused and tortured for doing some scenes that they don't want to do and if they refuse, their 50% salary is cut.

How horrible it is... If this is even 1% true (which it is), I feel immense guilt on myself and the people involved in all this crap. If we abandon this industry, those women will not suffer.

It can cause dopamine and other pleasure chemicals to rise to very unnaturally high levels in the brain, and for very unnaturally long amounts of time.

For instance some guys these days are masturbating for 3-5 hours before they are ejaculating. So edging, flicking about hundreds of different content, masturbating and constantly stopping them self from ejaculating so the pleasure lasts longer.

So when a guy does this his brain literally thinks he has been having sex with hundreds of different women in all sorts of very hardcore sexual ways for hours upon hours. It's constantly searching and getting something new which causes the dopamine in your brain to rise and rise and rise.

Guys don't have sex for 3-5 hours straight before they ejaculate, and they certainly don't have sex with hundreds of different women one after the other in all sorts of hardcore sexual ways for 3-5 hours before they ejaculate.

But this is the sort of thing that guys like this behaviour is mimicking when they are edging and masturbating to hundreds of sexual content for as long as this.

The brain literally thinks it is having sex with all those pixilated women on your screen.

But it is a complete trap. Because it literally robs you of real sexual intimacy.

That doesn’t even really matter anymore as much as it did in the past, as there’s plenty of content these days made and uploaded by amateurs who get thrilled by this sort of exhibitionism. And you won’t really see any fakeness-per-se (staging, scripting etc.) and/or signs of abuse in this content. Porn directors are indeed starting to face fierce competition! And it’s horrifying.

Back in the day only the worst of sluts — and mentally damaged women (abused in childhood etc.) — would willingly perform in porn movies. These days, on the other hand, it’s getting “trendy” among the youth and a sign of “being liberated”. So, paradoxically, I believe there’s going to be less and less cases of severe abuse of female porn performers, BUT the share of female amateurs in the industry is going to drastically increase, which will have a devastating effect on the moral condition of our society.

The ones that willingly go into porn, surely go into it for the money, not because they wish to be a pornstar, so doesn't that basically make it forced too?
