    Day 1,,
    I am supper happy . I don't know why..
    It is day one do I expected to feel like crap. But I am happy.
    And really focused on changing my life 360..
    I now know as @RiseToGreatness said i need to practice powerups willpower will not work alone.
    But i was always lazy and partly that was due to the fact that I was reseting every two three days...
    So dopamine levels were zero and motivation to do anything was zero..

    But it was a sort of negative feedback and I have to break the loop.. Somehow.

    So today I started with deep breathing and I felt so relaxed.. More powerups to follow
     
  10. Day 3 complete! Not much to say. I went through a couple instances of "fantasizing," but not anything that I would classify as triggering or problematic. I wasn't fantasizing about sex, just about what it would be like to be in a relationship.

    Not here to call you out because I've been there too, but it's tragic to see something like this. Typing out an accountability post isn't always going to be enough unless we take to heart the things it represents: commitment, companionship, a wake-up call. Did you make an attempt to do some breathing exercises, cardio, meditation, etc along with the post, or stay in the same triggering situation afterward?

    I stayed in the same triggering situation. Thank you @Gallade_Templar for holding me accountable. I make the excuse of "I have to do homework" to stay firmly planted infront of my computer. It would be in my best interests to just go to sleep and push the homework to the side.

    Looking forward to taking the summer off of classes.

    He does all the tips, meditation,exercise, changed his habits, cold showers.

    I have a hand-written journal where my Action Plan is. The plan is to look back at several other parts of my journal and sometimes add to them. They are: reasons not to masturbate or watch pornography, pros and cons to fapping, core values, triggers, and a list of things to do instead of acting out. Also included are meditation, NoFap, SMART Recovery (google it), redirecting my energy to my significant other, playing music, journaling to improve my life in other areas, working through past trauma and abuse, and exercise.

    Today is day three for me. Things are going okay; I am sticking to my Action Plan daily, and it is working.

    I hope to get some carpets for the basement, where I am setting up a music studio. My life is going better than ever. I do not want to ruin it with masturbation or pornography.

    Some words

    Never give into the threat of lust; it is possible. You will feel like you want to explode from the stress and energy brought upon you by your own actions in the past. You will feel the tension and hear your mind yelling at you. It is going to be overwhelming. I know, I've been there. Everything in the world around you is going to be tainted with the energy of lust, that is what it does. But, it is not the one who has fallen to lust that lived to tell the stories through generations (these stories are shared among many cultures worldwide). It is the one that saw the entity of lust and turned away who is seen as a great warrior. That person, however, is not some special human. He is - human. Just like all of us.

    There is not a single day I have gone without a flash of sexualized images that has come across my mind, not one single day. Everyday, what I have programmed in my mind bothers me, some days worse than others. But, I keep guiding myself back to a better place. Everyday, every single time those memories pop into my head I guide my thoughts back to a better place.

    There is no perfection. The addict's mind tells us that we should not go any further because it is not possible to be perfect. Indeed it is not, but that is no reason to reach into your pants.

    I am a mess, but I am a joyful mess.

     
  19. Day 43 complete

    Yesterday was kind of shit but nice at the same time. My grandpapa Tom had his 69th birthday (avoid 'nice' jokes please lol) and I got to go see him at his house. He had a lot of surgeries and life-threatening medical issues this past year and I am so deeply grateful he made it through to his birthday. While I was there, I went on 2 extensive walks in a 4 hour period (a good sign for dopamine receptor progress). I also did the lawns at my house and walked the dog for an hour later that day. Busy outside for once, basically.

    Now for the bad part. As I mentioned I am having some problems with my 'ex' girlfriend and that situation has given me a lot of negative thoughts. There are a lot of unique elements to this circumstance that I would rather not get into, but know that they really have worn me down. That being said, I am having more good days of being okay than bad days where I let the thoughts bog me down. This morning I am doing okay again, hope that remains the case.

    I had what would have been a very strong urge be reduced to an annoyance by cutting off my fantasy cold in its tracks. Seriously, try it y'all. :)
