Checking in. Just a few days shy of the full 90 reboot, and feeling stoked. The urges are definitely stronger right now as I approach this landmark, but compared to the first week they're barely a mosquito, and I know they'll drop off again once I pass 90. That said, I'm taking extra caution as these are the moments that can quickly snap a streak. Be well everyone!

Another week, another fail, not sure how I am ever going to be free from that stuff. I keep on developing strategies but when urges come it's just autopilot and I ignore all that stuff..

That is how it feels to me too. Did great for another 14 days only to have my brain go on autopilot for 5 minutes and the rest is history.

Checking in! 2 days till 90. The "upcoming milestone" urges have subsided and I've been sticking to my plan. The sun it out, my body is strong, my relationship with my son is awesome, and I'm set. Keep strong everyone!
Thought for the day, paraphrased from Universal Man. Fear is like a strong wind, put it in front of you and it will push you back. Put it behind you and it will propel you forward.
Fearing never getting to watch porn again is putting it in front of you--fearing that porn keeps you from being the man you want to be is putting it behind you. Recategorize your fears, and make them propel you forward.
For me, in this moment: Fear of how hard the work I need to get done is going to be is putting it in front of me. Fear of not living up to my potential as a creative is putting it behind me.

Hey you don't have to describe them... we've been there, we know those feelings and thoughts. Listen to @JJ_Kino he's right! Now focus on today. One day at time, and take it easy.
    Remember is just one day.

You got this man. Always tough to get back on track after a long streak. Your mind reasons 'hey I've gone X days before so surely I can do that again, let me just relapse real quickly and then I'll get back to 90+ days again!'.

Checking in on day 90. The official reboot is done! I feel in control of my life, of my ambitions, and my sexuality. Depression and anxiety are gone, I'm far better at facing stressors of life, and I feel like I've gotten my brain back. This isn't 90 days since my last relapse, it's 90 days since I broke out of jail and have been breathing the air of a free man. This is a freedom I don't ever want to let go of.

Relapse is always just a click away, and I will continue investing time and energy working and improving my plan. Next landmark is 120 days.

    It's exactly that.

Need to motivate myself, I find the first 7 -14 days the hardest of all the storms and if I can get to 21 days I can go on a good run.

    Thanks dude

    Reset today.

I'm having trouble beginning any kind of significant streak. Sleep deprivation and serious stress are not helping. I keep reminding myself how much better I feel when I'm sober versus a day like today--started out groggy and depressed, reset, then became even groggier and more depressed...I'm getting back on my healthy, productive schedule, starting right now.

Well I relapsed yesterday after just making it to 60 days. We faced a pretty tough issue a few weeks ago, and although I thought I had weathered it at the time, cravings increased, and I found myself proactively looking at psubs a few times the last few weeks. Sigh, predictable result. Positives: made it to 60 days (by far my personal best), the first 6 weeks of which I did not look at psubs proactively at all, and all I have to do is not proactively look for psubs. Simple right? Going forward I will count proactively looking for psubs as a relapse to increase accountability. As a coping mechanism, any time I find myself seriously considering the possibility, I plan to meditate to regain calm and perspective.

Very glad to see quite a few of you are well on your way to achieving mastery though. It's inspiring and I hope to join those ranks at some point, though I'm clearly not there yet. Until then, continued to be awed by all the honest effort at self-improvement across the board. Keep it up everyone!

  19. Feeling good, no urges this weekend. Edged a little on Facebook but caught myself before it got too far. Hope you're all doing well.
