    Hello everyone.
I’ve been on NoFap since past 20-21 days and each new day is worse than the previous one. After 2-3 hrs of waking up I feel like trash. No energy to anything whatsoever, I am into academics and I can’t even read a book for 1hr straight before feeling too tired and sleepy to continue any further. Why is this happening to me? Also i have trouble falling asleep but I ensure that I am getting at least 7hrs sleep.
I’ve been fapping to porn since I was 15 and now I am 26. Have tried NoFap several times in the past, my highest count being 86 days but this is the 1st time I am so low on energy. Even cold showers don’t help. please explain why m feeling like this and for how long will this continue and any measures to cope with this.
    Thank You!

I had them but not this severe my fatigue was mild and I could simply override it. Also doesn't PAWS effect during a continious long streak of 90+ days? My 86 day streak ended in January and after that I couldn't do nofap untill now so I don't think its PAWS. What about flatline that I read about quite often? Could it be that?

What you describe sounds like the flatline. I felt like total crap with no motivation or energy until around day 40. One day I woke up and felt better. My energy and motivation have slowly increased since. If you are able try a brisk (like you are late for a bus) walk for 40 minutes in the morning. It helps balance your brain a bit.

    Thanks for replying.
Man 40 days sounds like too much to me. Hope I can get atleast some relief before that. Will try morning walks from tomorrow since I don't have anywhere to go by bus. Also what other things can i expect in flatline? Right now I have trouble falling asleep, low or no motivation to do anything during the day probably because i feel too fatigued to do things anyways. I also feel mild headaches sometimes.

I had all of those symptoms including headaches. I felt pretty hopeless a few times and was easily agitated over the smallest things. I had no libido and my internal voice kept telling me "it's not worth it just go back to porn"
Keep going dude. It gets easier but it's a rough ride.

It might also be something not nofap related. Like depression, stress or anemia?

Yes of course it could be. It might be that you were self medicating with porn and it's not there to cover up anymore. What you are describing fits the description for flatline pretty tightly though. All of those are symptoms which are described by other people on this board.

I don't have depression. Stress maybe a little but its academics related so nothing serious that I haven't dealt with before. Anemia I don't know. fatigue is a symptom but other symptoms like pale skin, shortness of breath, dizziness, etc I haven't experienced so... Also my diet seems quite rich in Iron.

  10. It's not PAWS. Sound like ACUTE WITHDRAWALS.... Brief, PAWS is the ultimate step after ACUTE n BLISS phases are over. It could last up to 3 years depending the damages being done by pmo. And if you kindling while in paws, the process may last longer along with harder symptoms than the previous ones.

Thanks for the info. Its a challenge to even be able to go that far to be able to experience PAWS.

Sounds very tough, Hawkeye, I feel for you. Are you doing ALL the following:
    1) Getting enough exercise so that you sleep approx 8 hours at the end of the day? (like when it's dark until when it's light)
    2) Eating a high-protein breakfast
    3) Refusing ANY caffeine intake after 4pm
    4) Keeping refined white sugar and refined white flour products to a minimum
    5) Eating SOME kind of fruit and vegetable daily
    6) Having a conversation IN PERSON with at least one person daily where you can share a frustration or two without being judged
    7) NOT napping after 3pm
    8) NOT using a screen after 10pm
    9) drinking enough real WATER (not coke, soda, bullshit, purified water)
Because if you can make all these little things part of your life, you'll feel so much better every day. If you do all these and don't feel better after 3 or 4 days, you probably have to consult a doctor...maybe you have the flu or covid or mononucleosis. But seriously, people have NO IDEA ANYMORE how to design their days to be KIND to their body vehicle and make it run properly. Nobody tells them HOW to!

    Hello
I think I am doing most of the things mentioned by you. I can cut down refined sugars though. Eating lots of fruits in the afternoon. I don't think i require 8 hrs of sleep as whenever i sleep for that long i feel even more haggard and tired when waking up. 7 hours of sleep and I wakeup quite energetic. No screen time post 10PM is something i have taken into account. Rest of the things like water intake, no caffeine in the evening no naps after 3PM I am following all these very diligently. Daily exercise has taken a hit because of lockdown in my area.

Good for you, man. You're taking pretty good care of yourself. Yeah, your strange lack of energy is concerning. Maybe you have the flu??

Nah no flu. I think I have improved a bit in the past couple days. Still feel tired in the afternoons but the duration of tiredness has reduced

I'm glad to hear that, man. That was a cryptic and concerning situation.
