GOD IS REAL!! FREEDOM FROM PMO

Hey guys, just wanted to make this a short story on how I broke free from a PMO addiction and how you can overcome it.

I was PMO’ing for 7 years of my life, and not realizing how bad it was affecting me. Some of the negative effects were: anxiety, depression, weak, angry, frustrated, and felt like a complete loser. This addiction felt like I was never going to break it even when I wanted to stop. That’s how bad it got, and it just got worser over time. I would waste hours just looking at vids until COVID hit.

When COVID hit I transformed into someone that I’ve always wanted to become. I made a commitment to break this addiction and focus on improving the areas that I was weak in. So I started to meditate, do yoga, go outside, and read up on all these things that supposedly can cure this addiction. Well it did for only 38 days. After that I went back to my old self again to that loser that I was. Until I felt this heavy conviction in me which turned me towards God’s path.

I gave it a shot, and I improved but I relapsed after 48 days. One day I saw this video on YouTube of a pastor talking about how he broke his porn addiction. He said that God is the only one who can set you free from it. You can do all the meditation, yoga, positive talk but at the end of the day it’s not enough because God is so powerful that he can cast any evil thing away from you in your life. I heard this voice inside my head telling me to go repent for all my sins at church, and tell someone that I can trust about this issue. I’m gonna be honest I never thought about going to church to discuss this problem with a priest at all, or telling my mom about this because I thought it was going to be extremely embarrassing. Well guess what I woke up that morning with this strong desire to listen to that voice. When I told my mom about it she completely understood what I was going through and was so supportive that she was willing to do anything to help me. Once I did that I felt like I just took a huge Boulder that weighed a ton off my back. The next thing I did was confess my sins to a priest and he was also supportive and gave me some great advice on how to overcome it. I kid you not when I left that church I was crying like a baby because I felt that love from God and I was now a completely different person. Ever since I confessed God has given me tremendous strength, and will power to resist temptations from the devil and I’ve now been clean for 4 months!

God is the answer and the solution to all your problems your dealing with in life. Trust me he has blessed me with so many things that I’m just so thankful to have him in my life. I made a promise to him in that church that if he can help me become a better person and fix me that I’ll give him my heart. Ever since then he’s been with me every step of the way. Not gonna lie I’ve been tempted plenty of time but I know that if I pray God will fight the battle for me. PLEASE TURN TO HIM BECAUSE HE WANTS TO SAVE YOU!
