250+ days and no progress at all..

    I admit I am not very confident in myself, I have anxiety while watching myself in the mirror, cause I have a receding hairline and I don't find myself very attractive.

    Also, I became too comfortable in the last year with the pandemic in the background. I was working from home all the time, with too little social interaction. You are right, I need something that makes me feel I'm living.

    I know the hair thing is super difficult for a lot of men. You have two options here: either you start to embrace it or you get the situation improved by implementing hairs from your back to the front and middle part. The procedures have gotten pretty good and if you look at Elon musk you will see how great it can be.
    My brother is about to get it after covid and I might as well.

    But the thing that will probably boost your confidence the most is most likely going to be fixing your nutrition and continuing to work out.

    I rarely see people who have a good looking, athletic body who are really uncomfortable with themselves. A good looking body makes most people feel much better about themselves.

    And that might be one of the key things for you. Actually feeling good about yourself.

    Focus on what you have control over.
    Less fat and sugar, more running/cycling.
    Become dedicated. No need the become a model or a bodybuilder. Not needed for anyone, but looking athletic really helps to boost confidence for men and women.

    If there is anything you are afraid about, try to focus on those things first, while giving the one that gives you the most fear the highest priority. People are great at becoming much less fearful when they become dedicated

    Hey man, I was thinking about getting a hair transplant some day.
    Regarding the dieting and becoming athletic, I went to gym for 3 years and a half and I had months when I was dieting, but still no progress. Lately, the gym was closed due to restrictions so I couldn't continue with my workouts, but it was only for a month. I don't know what else to do, I couldn't find the answer to my problem, all I'm expecting is to cure myself by waiting like other people. But it's almost 10 months in this NoFap cycle and there wasn't any sign.

    You went to the gym and the weights you were lifting increased over that time, you watched your nutrition so your body could reduce the fat and increase lean muscle and there was no progress in the way you look???

    Being a dedicated gym goer, as well as working professionally in the health industry, I know that this is next to impossible.

    Everyone who goes to the gym for more than 2 years while being dedicated to becoming better looking will achieve some form of progress. Unless you never increase the weights, never do cardio and keep eating bad.
    I'm starting to believe you "just go" to the gym, without having any specific goal or drive, same as with your nutrition.

    Looking good means (sometimes a lot ) of work. But it feels to me like you don't see the actual benefit, or are even lacking the actual desire to get there. But you are underestimating the value it will bring to your life, especially your confidence

    You are right, I wasn't fully dedicated to my gym, diet and everything all the time! I had a period of 3 months when I was fully dedicated to lose weight, do more cardio, weight lifting and so on, and the transformation was insane. I lost 15 kg back then, but unfortunately no difference regarding the libido and getting hard.

    I truly wanna become a better version of myself each time, but I can't keep all my goals. I managed over time to do a lot of important stuff: gave up smoking, gave up alcohol, the last year I gave up porn and masturbation and started good habits like going to the gym, eating better and so on. I don't know what to do to become better, maybe there might be something. Improving my sleeping routine, cause usually I sleep like 6 hours/night and falling asleep very late. For example, now it's 2 am and I'm scrolling the internet..

    If it helps: There's a bald dude at my gym. His face is even somewhat ugly. His body, however, is spectacular. I have seen the way the girls react to him. I have a receding hairline too, man. I stepped up my game in the gym after seeing the way the girl get over this dude though. To give you an idea, he looks like Van Damme from 1986-9. He has the head of Danny di Vito. Kinda funny

    Thank you for your story! I'm not sure how I will look if I go completely bald. Still thinking about doing a hair transplant or shaving my head. Who knows, maybe I look better with no hair and becoming a hot sh*t lol.
