    Hi Everyone,

I recently started getting into the habit of fantasizing. On this last streak, it has been uncontrollable. Some mornings, I wake up and am overwhelmed by racing thoughts involving porn.

My motivation for this streak is simply not where it has been in the past. As a result, my mind has been slipping. If this cycle continues then I will certainly fail on this streak. Every moment seems like a struggle not to check a certain website that I was addicted to. This streak, I feel as if I am fighting a losing battle.

The addiction starts in the mind, but how do we gain mastery of our minds? How do I break this vicious cycle once and for all?

    Any thoughts? Ideas? Suggestions?

All right, i was in the same situation but i detected the cause of my fantasies, is because "i was fishing", looking some materials that aren't P but makes one thinking about it, i stopped of doing that and this vanish 90%.
Just think in something else as Mohaimen says, it is dificult in the beginig but is possible to left it.
Those images will be vanish with the time, the brain will not remember more about that.

This streak, I haven't been looking at or searching anything compromising (except for one day on the first week.) Moreso, my brain is holding onto memories involving porn and flooding my mind with these thoughts. As a result, I have this burning desire to check up on this one website to see if they have anything new.

This is a very fragile place to be right now, and even one trigger can cause me to stumble. "Fishing" is definitely really bad, but how do we break free from the vice grip of these horrible memories? How do we win this battle when the mind is constantly trying to remind us of our addiction?

Any ideas or help is appreciated.

Stop idolizing sex and porn. If the woman in the porn video was right infront of you would you idolize her and bow down to her begging to have sex? Would you desperately try to sleep with her salivating after her as your idol?
Would you beg to be with her?

This is what youre doing when you helplessly fantasize about someone in a perverted manner.

Porn makes us engage in pathetic behavior. We need to retrain ourselves to be healthy and set priorities.

Let you have power over your mind and dont put it in the hands of sexual imagery.

Dont let your mind be in desperation for it. Take control of your mind. Youre putting yourself second

Something I do to stop fantasizing quickly is to yell no loudly in my head.

I heard another method that works well is the rubber band method.

It’s where you put a rubber band on the wrist and snap it to induce pain whenever you start to fantasize.

I’ve never tried this, but I definitely would give it a shot.

  9. It's been said a million times here, but it's true: Meditation actually helps you train to regain control over your thoughts.

I am now able to simply block out any porn-related fantasies and daydreams. Because if I don't stop it before it's too late, intense fantasies are just as bad as a relapse and lead to PMO sooner or later.

  11. Meditation rly helps. Do it two times a day for like 10 minutes each session as a start.

As soon as you have those thoughts get up and do sth else, for example go out or do push ups.. I am dealing with the same problem currently as you do because I watched a YouTube video in which there was a half naked girl dancing around and I can't stop thinking of her..

It is very good of you discussing this subject.

I am not very good at it too. But I have lost pretty much everything, my wife, my daughter and parents. My wife found another other man and my daughter lives with them. I also lost my house. I also find very hard to work because of lack of energy after PMO and use of working girls.

I feel really ashamed of paying young vulnerable girls to act on my dirty fantasy.

So, I give myself a lot of moral reasons when those thoughts emerge. I also repent in front of the universe and seek help. I just want to be the little innocent boy I was.

Sit down and write down whatever reasons I have to stop PMO. Every morning, read it.

I will be 50 this year. I have struggled since I was 14. You can imagine how bad I have caused to my family and the people around me. How selfish I am!

Cold showers, having a good workout routine where you train like an absolute beast I find helps.

    Many thanks.

I am old. And my journey is very difficult because the number of years of sexual misconducts and PMO. But I know NoFap is good for me without a doubt. My energy is low. My rhinitis is bad but improving very very slowly. My mood is sad and blue most of time.

The good things I am experiencing are my eyes are a lot brighter. My vision is far better than before. My blocked ears became unblocked suddenly after 20 days I stopped PMO. I have also experienced a few women initiated a normal conversation with me, which I do not have it for so many years.

Yes, that is why I tell people my story. If you can stop, stop now. I also take this opportunity to warn people as my repentance.

If you don’t mind me asking how many times a day did you MO/PMO?
I done it 3/4 times a day and started nofap last July. I have had streaks ranging from 30 days, 50+ days, 104 days and and few days here and there. I have seen significant change in body and mind so if I can do it I’m sure you can! I wish you well.
