  1. does it mean teetotalism? Because as much as I love a joint and a beer, it always inevitably leads to PMO.

You boys understand how devastating this addiction can be, and I would do anything to be free of it. And if that means no more drinking, no more weed, than I think that is something I should be looking into. I feel I would be more happy leading an ascetic lifestyle.

What are your opinions? To be teetotal, or not? That is the question.

asceticism is the ultimate goal for everyone, if they want to return to God. It's par for the course of all our lives, it's just that not everyone knows it...yet. But they will eventually, one day. Be it in this life or any one of the next ones, be it here, or in the hereafter.

I drink. I used to smoke. I used to take drugs too. I wank a lot still, and I know that I have to give it all up if I am to overcome my fear of being alone.

    I'm with you!

  3. Why use some smart sounding terms when you can just live a healthy life? Like... Your health and health of your dear ones comes first, then goes things like love, healthy diet and sports. No specific terms - just healthy/the way it should be.

But yes, I can agree. Alcohol leads to a really loose and shitty lifestyle just like weed. You don't want to do much - just chill/relax and sit there. It's irresponsible (correct me if I wrote it wrong) way of living and especially for a man who should take responsibilities cause sense of responsibility is what makes man a man.

  4. I just feel like it's false to abstract PMO from all the other dissociative behaviours we may engage in, like drinking and drugging, or even gaming, and pretend like we are making progress just because we haven't watched porn and had a wank for a week or two.

    Do you get me?

PMO compulsions are just one way in which we become addicted to dissociating from everyday life, from everything that is nearest and closest to us.

But there are also a myriad of other ways in which we can do this, and this is what makes us poly-addicts. In doing these other compulsive behaviours, like drinking and drugging, together, in addition to PMO, we compound the effects of each and create for ourselves an addictive complex, the goal of which is dissociation to the furthest degree possible.

Why are we so compelled to dissociate from our everyday lives? Why do we find it so intolerable?

All of the signifiers of intoxication culture are inflated to such an extent by the media, that it is considered quiet normal for people to get blackout drunk on a regular basis, and we all know about the sex-positive psychotherapuetic lunatic fringe that have embedded themselves in the interstices of the medical and educational professions who maintain that pornography and wanking bring nothing but unadulterated joy to everyone. But why? When the result is always the same, utter dissociation.

  5. Progress and healthy life is what makes me happy. Just randomly thought about it.
