It is not nonsense, I have no idea why people here give medical advice without backing it up with science. Ages ago I started a thread in response to a recent scientific paper showing a link between ejaculation frequency and prostate cancer. @Anonymous86 you posted multiple times in that thread. The thread is here, and the paper is here.

What I took from the discussion was that:
    • Even though the study provides evidence, there are too many confounding factors to be sure (see @Professor Abraham's post here)
    • Other (albeit earlier) studies have been contradictory.
    • People cite diet as a good way to cut the risk, but do not cite the science behind that.
    • There's some research on monks showing no increase in prostate cancer, but we cannot find the original research, just mention of it in a newspaper article.
That left me thinking that there is a very slight elevated risk, but that other factors may be more important. I'm sticking to abstinence, but I am in a relationship and am not doing hard-mode.

    I am not a doctor.

No one knows. The kind of short answers you get here are not well founded. Because no one knows, if you do want more information you will have to either read more and do your own research, or ask a doctor.

Well at this point I would rather die than live that hopeless life of pmoing. I guess once you are deep enough in the shit hole you got no other choices.

I award you with the highest honor I can give. A brain cell, commemorating a reply that uses critical thinking.

    Cheers!

  7. there isn't much concrete evidence, but relasing may prevent prostate cancer to some extent, of course there are many other ways to prevent it and your body finds a way to relase anyway
that being said, MO can make the risk of non-cancer prostate related problems higher
