I would assume it can work. I honestly don't see a reason why it wouldn't. We seem to have this notion in modern society that sexuality can't change. It's always possible to go back, there's no point of no return. That said, the further you go into your addiction or your fetish, the more effort required to remove the addiction/fetish.
