Would a fantasy fap hinder my progress?

    So I’ve been out on a date with a girl who is really attractive and although nothing happened between us on the date I’ve got a real urge now to have a fantasy fap over her. In the past I would only get the urge to fap whilst watching P. I started nofap as I suffer with pied. Would a fantasy fap help or hinder my progress?
    The urge is so strong to have one thinking of her right now.

    In some people, MO during the reboot has the same negative effect as PMO. It brings you to 'day zero'.
    So go get a cold shower, meditate (thy headspace app for guided meditations, it's awesome). And stay on hardmode (no P, no M, no O) as long as possible. For a successful reboot/rewire. Wish you success!

    I agree with the above. I think having actual sex with a partner during reboot is different, but PMO to a fantasy (even of a "real girl") I think is a slippery slope and may just lead back to P. Save that excitement for her if the dating goes further. Not worth hindering ur recovery.

    IMO, it would hinder your recovery. Your brain will always rationalise that it is okay to masturbate or watch porn because...
