I have not watched any type of porn or sexual content longer than I can remember, it has been at least 8+ months.
Anyway I have been abstaining from masturbation since Ramadan stated on April 13. It feels very good to not break my commitment and I hope to continue it. I truly feel at some times like wow I have not felt any pleasure in that type of way in a long time and then the devil starts to try to convince me and tell me like nobody will ever want to play with you or you'll never be able to fulfill yourself with someone so you might as well just masturbate, but I have been seeking regufe in God and thank God I have been supported and blessed so that I quickly distract myself and reject what the devil gets to convince me of.

Yes its happened to me once, i learned the same thing; since it's involuntarily then it does not break fast.

I feel though it is partially my fault when it does happen as I may have been having sexual thoughts beofr I sleep. After that I have tried my best to rid myself of these thoughts before I sleep.

Thank you very much. Islam has brought me strength in many ways that I did not expect. Confidence to say what is right and straigh and to protect myself from evil and the ability to see what's right and wrong easier. I even feel that I have received much peace in situations that would make me feel powerless or where I would have reacted terribly, and now I reacted graciously and with ease and am able to navigate through life, thanks to God, with a softer heart.

I have been fasting this Ramadan. It helps a lot. I haven't relapsed since before Ramadan. But in years prior it also helped but as soon as it ended I went right back to porn. This year I plan to keep going after Ramadan is over Insha Allah

I'm at day 35 and ramadan helps me a lot. I learned self control and commitment to quit this addiction.

Unfortunately I relapsed last night after 40 days of nofap. But at least I made it through Ramadan so I succeeded. I'm starting this journey again hopefully I can defeat this nasty addiction.

I'm gonna do Shawwal too! I think it's gonna be a good thing to jumpstart my nofap journey again. I felt my soul is cleansing when I fast.

Hii both of you, it's kind of great to know you're doing your best during the last Ramadan and I supposed you're a muslim. First of all, I want you to know that both of you are doing a very great job in order to break through the PMO prison and since right now you're targeting into NoFap Shawal, may I suggest you guys to read the book in my previous post. As a fellow brother, I really did understand your struggle to stop PMO and believe me, the book that I uploaded in my post would be the greatest tool for you to stop PMO for good this time.

You can find my post in the "Success Stories with a title of Yippee, I'm Freee!". There, I give you a very good book that have helped me to escape PMO forever and I hope you can also free as well. Hope it helps!
