I apologize for being MIA for a bit and not responding to your replies. I just want to say that this is where my journey ends with porn addiction and this will be my last post here.

To those of you who are struggling to make yourselves better men, and those in particular who found humbleness in yourselves along the way, I hope and pray that you all find the success you seek.

To the spouses of these men, you are all Angels. You have an inner strength that I just don't have anymore.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to write personal and heartfelt responses to me. Good luck to all of you on your journey.

  2. Yeah but I don't blame her. Feeling guilty for 8 years about your husbands ED and then discovering that it was actually his fault? Man...I can't even imagine how that could feel. I get pretty pissed of if I get blamed for something I didn't do just once, not 8 years...yeeesh. Her brain probably got fried for a period of time and shut down to preserve her sanity. It's terrible. I hope she doesn't kill her husband though...

Sometimes it's easier to just walk away

I wouldn't say that it is necessarily *easier* to walk away. Sometimes it is necessary though. I am a firm believer in the fact that you can't help someone with their problem if you are unable to help yourself through the hurt. Sometimes a relationship is just too far gone to be salvaged. It definitely isn't easier though. Here she is with time and love invested in this relationship. I'm sure it was very painful for her to do but I respect her for taking care of her own emotional well being. :)
