Ecchi looks fantastic. Sometimes I want to see it, like sometimes I want to listen to music. Is this a porn addiction? If not, how to determine if my intentions are pure?

  2. Sounds like your brain is looking for a loophole to get dopamine. Ultimately you know yourself best, does looking content meant to arouse you lead to you spiraling into a PMO session? I'd say it's best to get rid of all those thoughts.

Now, after you pointed said, I understand I totally get dopamine when looking at woman in vulgar clothes or without vulgar clothes, 2d or 3d.

  4. Is there anything else you can look at that would help motivate you to continue on your streak. I don't think there's particularly anything wrong with getting dopamine from looking at women but if it's sexual and mirrors the context of when you watch pornography then it's not worth it. Like if one of your goals is to be in a long term committed relationship and you aren't in one, maybe look at pictures of couples that are in love to motivate you to become the best person you can be. Or perhaps look at pictures of women dressed modestly, ones you actually want to date or form a connection with and use that as drive to fuel you. Of course only do this if you honestly think your reasons for it are pure. If you have to question it, then don't do it. The beast will look for any weak point in the cage to get free and devour what lies outside the cage.

    Hello Davikch,

Yes, I'm afraid the dopamine thing is probably one of the most important reasons why people can get addicted so easily to basically anything you can think of. The trouble is that, in the long term, we seem to lose the thrill we usually feel at the beginning, and, as a result, we need larger doses to achieve the same sensation.

I guess I can relate to your story and understand your feelings -- sadly, it appears that there is no easy way out for us, as it typically takes a very long time to make full recovery. If I may offer you any suggestions or ideas -- I try to find some soft substitutes for porn -- watching images or videos of clothed women, I'd say, works fairly well for a lot of people (though there might be great differences, of course).

Anyway, take care and I wish you all the best in your journey, Davikch!

  6. It's probably a dopamine ting, lad. Let's think 'bout tings in a different way. If you throw a bone and a dog is around, that dog would go after the bone , right? If you heard a Japanese moan from my phone nearby, you'll instantly react to it by getting hard while others that haven't heard something that "erotic." Abstaining rewires your thinking and almost fixes problem. Give yo self 90 days and you won't instantly get hard but you'd obviously know where it came from.

I’m kind of a dinosaur, so I had to google “Ecchi.” Explain to me how “your intentions are pure” if you’re looking at that stuff.

haha that is what I thought when I read his text. Infact I used Ecchi videos for fapping. It is as same as other kind of porn. Just animated version
