Thoughts as I approach 90 days

It seems to get easier as I go along. There were times that were excruciating - God, your body wants to thrust and there is no partner, so "relief" made sense.

This past week, not too many urges. But not only that, I see that a fap is the end result of a lot of thoughts, events or such that lead up to a fap - and that you can "head them off at the pass."

For instance, I am writing to you from a hotel. Usually, one of the first things I would do at a hotel is lie back and jerk off. Hotels are sexy, hotels are where you might hook up with a stranger, hotels have king bed and clean sheets and everything clean and perfect, so ya feel sexy, thinking about a hot woman joining you between the sheets.

But no...I just unpacked my shit, took care of business, and...NoFap, and no urge.

Hotels can also be lonely places, and loneliness leads to fapping.

Been lonely a long time, but taking steps to date and connect and hopefully have sex one of these days.

Also, holy crapoli, society is back open and society is LOUD and rough and angry. Geez, people getting into fights at 7-11, or the gas station. Maybe it's the moon.

Anyway, I won't be loud and rough and angry, or try not to be. I called someone an asshole yesterday to their face after they were rude to me, then got back in my car and said "Now, now, now...easy does it, boss."

Not perfect is what I'm saying.

Ok, I am off to have lunch with a lovely young woman I met while I was on a motorcycle trip from Tennessee to Florida four years ago. We stayed in touch and here I am in her town. We shall eat, talk, flirt and...who knows what else? Cheers all....
