What tools do you use when a craving arises?

My addiction always comes with arguments and I block them with counter arguments. And if I don't have the right counter argument I relapse.
And I always feel that the urges come pulse-wise.
Best go outside where you can't watch porn until the urges disappear.
Sometimes we get urges because we are in a situation in which we always used to PMO. So sometimes it's enough to slightly change the situation. For instance by going into another room.
Or calling someone, that also helps.
And many people swear on cold showers. I don't but maybe I'm too soft :D

My urges have subsided a lot at this point, but working out and hiking outside I think are great tools. Rly anything to engage ur body in a different way and get u away from a computer/phone. Also important to identify what specifically triggers ur urges and then address/avoid those triggers.

Willpower first. Knowledge of past failures second. My relapses due to triggers are well know to me at this point. Even if I am suffering, I am reluctant to relapse because I know from experience that PMO offers no sustainable solutions to my problems.

    I agree!
Willpower, knowledge of past failure, and knowing that this is new lifestyle and it will take time.
Not constantly worrying to relapse. I know there is chance to relapse, but why should I miss my life thinking about it and fighting constantly. I know that relapse is not long term option and I'am avoiding it for all costs. Be accountable, selfcare, hitting gym (don't skip leg days).

Cold showers or shower your balls with cold water. (this is for urges)
ALSO, stop counting days. Instead, if you already counted the days and you relapsed, then just move on with your counter and don't take it back to 0. This will f*** you up. You will feel depressed and your brain will think that there is too much job already done and you won't make it again to your XY days, and you will constantly relapse. I hope that makes sense. It's not about counting the days, it's about new better habits.

We all must understand that this will take some time to be alright.
So be accountable, don't ever let yourself distracted off your daily routine of new healthy habits. One by one, and it will make you slowly relapse.

    Hello Guys,

I have been through torture through withdrawal symptoms and many times relapsed.

The longest i have been without pmo is 10 months.

See the cravings as an negative energy, you need to understand how the crave is forming and why. For example with my own cravings, i realsied it was only if i was focusing on something erotica with any of my senses which will trigger feelings or cravings. Or most of the other times it wss the lustful demons. Yes most of the time it was the demons. They know lust is a powerful tool to destroy us with. Cause us pain,, destroy our lives.

I have few things you guys could follow:
-Everyday shower, keep everything clean. Holiness and angels enter clean places not bad places. Demons like filthy places or bodies.

-Research on the natural supplement NAC. it kills my crave and withdrawal symptoms in 30mins. Do your own research. Wonderful supplement.

-Replace your habit with a good one but take it nice n slow. Breath. Breath deep but slow.

-Listen to good holy songs to counter attack the demons trying to contaminate our hearing. Do the same for your sight, stop using your eyes to much. Look down at your feet, ground, legs and contemplate. Tell your eyes "You've seen enough" then ask GOD to purify your senses.

-Repent, admit it, feel bad for it, say sorry and make promise not to ever do it again. Come back to good terms with GOD.

-Relax. Give yourself a slip of dopamine through nice tasty food perhaps.

-Understand you are at war against the demons. When you become soft inside your heart and you are pure again. You can notice negative energies coming your way.

Remain in purity always ie make sure you wash your whole body properly, clean your nostrils meaning take water slightly up your nose slowly just to clean the whole passage.

    Gargle 3 times with water.

While you wash yourself imagine all your sins and dirt is leaving with the water. Ask the water to activate its holy cleansing power. Ask GOD to make the wash remove it all.

I have experienced alot through my journey. But the key take is: stay clean be clean think clean, do not give time to any flashbacks images etc. Look at holy people. Holy places.

I'm a Muslim so i look at the holy sites or holy pious servants who are pure who carry pure energies. So it reflects back onto me.

Stay away from bad music, it can change your water structure inside your body etc. Please engage in repentance. Ask for help

    All the best.
