I think you are talking about falling in love. That is a bad idea. Love is blind and way too much happiness like crazy euphoric happiness woman are great but very changeable and moody. I will not put myself at the hands of love. It's a great high but also a hard low.

As humans, we are in love with idealized beauty. We are captivated by beautiful women because we think that her personality and character is that of a fair maiden. See my thread about learning to hate deceptive beauty. Society ignores/shuns homely looking or ugly looking women.

 

Don't remember and don't feel I'm missing anything. If I could do something to remember I would probably not put forth the effort at this point. I would go so far as to compare it with being nostalgic with classic gaming. I know some people who are totally into it, I've completely lost interest.

Honestly I'd say there's a better experience of connection later. I don't know that it automatically comes with age though, just as that gaming nostalgia doesn't also disappear in time. Even if it's someone I was really into when younger, both I and the girl will have changed. I certainly am not attracted to the same kind of women as I was when I was in my 20s.
